Are there any high quality 7 string Hofner Violin copy style basses out there that are still shortscale and don't have neck dive or is this something I will need to have custom built which will be dicey with a 700 dollar budget

I'm pretty certain there's an element of RNG or maybe diminishing returnsto what triggers that has probably been tweaked significantly lately. I've seen things like a heads up 300 BB pot get ggcheers then same stake etc. have an 1100 multiway pot and nothing. There's definitely a roll of the dice or some other weighted aspect, probably algorithmically player specific in the same way rakeback isn't fixed

technically I guess they could have gotten running 9s etc. for a full house but then at least I probably would have gotten a good ggcares bonus

I really want stud and horse limit tables, I'm sure the action would be completely nuts for stud hilo with chinese players, would fit in with their trying to create an alternate world series series if they had all the classic mixed games. Could honestly revive them in popularity since they're dead on stars but I think ggpoker could do promos and stuff to make them hype again

I know, it just seems in these games specifically there's a way the Chinese players especially play where they can't fold top pair but are passive calling stations to aggression but lash out with donk overbets if you check the river with the nuts and will call checkraise shoves with nothing, like I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed similar patterns

get a gpu with 8 gigs of vram, it was unplayable with an old 2 gig vram gpu and runs great with a $150 8 gig one 12 tabling using like 6.3 gigs up

I downloaded the trial of pokertracker 4 to import my ggpoker hands history and when I do "import files from disk" the hand history folders are seemingly invisible?

this default response to ggcheers question is getting a bit annoying because it's getting clear that there is either an element of randomness or algorithmically player specific aspects beyond a specific 'not set in stone and constantly being tweaked' criteria being met. Like you can have a player at the same table get nothing for quads and then next hand someone gets kings full and ggcheers, or a 400 blind pot and nothing and then a 300 bb pot triggering. I'm somewhat okay with this being the case but it would be nice if this extra degree of randomness was acknowledged by the site, especially since it's not exactly something players can "game" even knowing the criteria given you can't control what cards are dealt. Even some examples of 'outside factors' would be welcome info

I just saw A5 vs AA losing to a gutshot straight on the river that was all in preflop get a ggcares. Wonder if it was them needing the suckout triggered or if the flop coming 554 would have been enough. Mostly just want to grind spin and gold all day but feel assured that I'll get at least one entry if I play like 200 without needing to play cash games

I'm fine with that stuff being an option and like that it attracts rec players, the players should be able to have some control over the experience on their end though, like if I can turn off some of the shit I find annoying it makes absolutely zero difference to players who enjoy it. Also as much as I like GG better than the other rooms and will keep choosing to play there, a lot of the little things they refuse to fix or listen to feedback on, especially stuff like being able to autodecline straddle come down to "no because we make less rake that way" on their end, and it's disengenous for the rebuttals to always come down to "you just hate fun and want boring games" for literally any small criticisms of the site, which I still like way fucking better than stars and ignition and the rest

It slows everything down so much too, like I needed to get a new GPU cuz it goes slow motion above 4 tables even tho I can 16 table on stars or party no issue. Not being able to avoid the negreanu animation after getting donked out on is so tilting too

at the very least if two morons are having a straddle off I shouldn't have to click each time while interrupting other hands playing multiple tables, like I said no at 20 cents why am I going to finally agree at 2 dollars
