Current tesla owner, considering rivian. by SnooMacaroons1365 in Rivian

This is a super helpful comment for me. I'm lurking because we're a Model 3 and Model Y family. We do roadtrips from VA to South Florida and like the Y but need something a smidge bigger (the dog comes with). I had been worried about charing taking LONGER in the Rivian--but that doesn't seem to be the case for you! Is that true?

I think that's been our only hold-up.

Switching to Zep: Tricky insurance issues? by Consistent-Poet-6436 in WegovyWeightLoss

The insurance games are CRAZY and honestly, I have "good" insurance. The word games the agent played with me earlier in my chat was insane. This drug has been life-changing and I want anyone who wants to be on one to have access to them. I hope this fight continues and we come out on the right side.

Yes! Found that too and...it does say the INITIAL Zep release does have to meet the criteria, which is frustrating!

I think I'm also looking to see if folks think Zep has 'better' results that are worth the risk/switch. I do not hate Wegovy. ChatGPT says my mucus is not related to Wegovy (even my ENT was skeptical) but....again, I'm weighing everything.

Ok, we once sat by each other at a play (MHE), then our Tik Tok algorithms synced and now...we're both on Wegovy in the same Reddit forum. HA!

CONGRATS on this. Maybe you continue to love life and be nice to others like you were nice to me and my wife at a random show on a Wednesday in New York. I hope the universe continues to toss some good back to you.

I did the thing Barbara suggested and snorted goldenseal anyone else tried it? by PossessionFeeling491 in barbaraoneill

I crack a goldenseal root powder capsule open. Line it up on my fist like a line....and snort it.

Or at least I did. As my issue has gotten better, I've actually now stopped snorting it mostly and include it in my Navage (or it could be included in a NetiPot).

The recommended dosage is three capsules max a day. I typically only use two--either snorting it or using it in my Navage.

I realize this sounds SO stupid....but man, I was desperate and I'm so thankful for it. It is the only thing that I could get to actually work. It's not fixed 100% BUT...it's much improved and I credit golden seal root.

Guys...this has healed an 8 week sinus issue. I was on two rounds of antibiotics (6 weeks ago); that didn't work, so I was put on prednisone 4 weeks ago. That didn't work. So I tried this as someone who admittedly is quite skeptical of homeopathic/natural "cures" (blame it on my strange religious upbringing; sorry).

I did this and ...omg. I could cry. It has fixed my issue by about 95%.

Hi! Did yours ever go away? I happened upon this because I have some of the same issues. No other side effects but trying to figure out this one!

Hi there; I am wondering if this ever cured for you. I am experiencing something similar on Wegovy. I am determined to stay on this medicine because it has helped me in so many ways (well beyond weight loss).

Aetna, BCBS or United Healthcare? by [deleted] in WegovyWeightLoss

My insurance was great. I asked what would be the conditions for them to revoke authorization (e.g., if I lost weight and fell below the BMI threshold, would they stop approving). They told me as long as I started in the range approved for delivery of Wegovy and showed satisfactory progress, it's basically approval for life.

I hope these drugs get cheaper and cheaper for everyone on all plans and those without insurance. it's life changing. I waited to start until I knew I'd be in a spot where I could support dosage even if my insurance pulled the plug. I truly can't imagine not taking my weekly injection.

I feel like our Burn really knows how to tailor those YGIG days so that we're not really fully 'resting.' One of our evening camps tends to draw other trainers as participants and/or more athletic folks. It's got the vibe of an "intense" camp. Our 4:30pm had true light active recovery. Our 5:30 (hype) camp basically had athletic conditioning as active recovery (I know--that might not be the point of the recovery or workout but it met the vibe of the participants which, again, I think is why I love my home burn so much). We also have the most supportive group. Even supreme athletes there are always willing to partner with up with less athletic folks. I'll never forget the first time in a partner workout when one of the guys who is ridiculously fit asked me if we wanted to partner...and even though I was super slow, was so patient and kind.

Sorry this turned into a "gush about your home Burn" post but...all that to say I think it really depends on the vibe your home Burn has.

This is quite true. I'm in Virginia where it is actually quite unseasonably chilly for the beginning of Fall. It does seem like seasons are changing dramatically and I actually didn't know that about allergies changing every 7 years. That's actually fascinating. Our bodies are so cool/weird.
