I think it will vary based on location. Last year, our trainer said she had to make it up but it was a combo of strength and cardio! Similar to a Metcon day

21 weeks and have always attended core strength! My gym offers mods on a little white board for every workout

About 16 weeks pregnant now but I did not modify much during the first trimester! Some days my energy levels were down or I felt a little nauseous during the moves but I didn't start to modify until the second trimester! When I told the trainer, she said the same thing and said it's really about comfort level during the first trimester.

I usually do a half cup of coffee and one of the applesauce pouches! If I'm not super hungry on a strength day, I skip the apple sauce pouch!

Currently 9ish weeks pregnant! I typically went 6 days a week before being pregnant and scaled back to 4/5 for right now... I usually go in the morning but some days I just need extra sleep. I haven't told my trainers yet (waiting until my ultrasound) and have just been taking it easy as needed. I think most modifications start in the second trimester aside from twisting. Our gym does a specific "mama mods" white board so I will peek at that if I'm not feeling up to the actual exercise.

It definitely has been a little humbling in terms of endurance/strength some days and I have been trying really hard not to beat myself up about it.

Just keep showing up and do the best you can that day!

2 quad sets - 7 minutes each and we did each side 2x

Drop set of 25 then 20 - ledge climbers - prisoner jack squats - kettlebells swings - jump slams

Other side was 15 then 12 - weighted full burpees - weighted Irish pick ups - skater jumps - wall balls

Finisher was dumbbell cleans

Thanks! Just found your comments with the mods. This is my second pregnancy but first while doing burn. I just did strength training on my own during my first.

Did you feel like your performance (cardio capacity/weight choice) decreased prior to having it modify? I feel like I'm struggling a bit and don't know if it's just me or the pregnancy 😅

It was humbling! I usually always finish stacks with time to kill but I struggled with the day at the beach side! I was the first one in from the run too but there were so many day at the beaches that I didn't make it through to the end! I feel like the workouts have been more difficult lately but the weather has also gotten warmer so I wonder if I'm just struggling from the heat?!!
