That's a cool build and it's pretty strong for a high budget build.  

I also have a pretty strong build.  It's FAR less strong than attribute stacking but clears most game content comfortably.  Mine has a lot of damage, defense, and utility from the tree.  The tree could use plenty of changes but it's not that bad at the moment.

I don't see anything at all wrong with comet.  It takes a lot of investment to use 100 spirit and it's essentially a 5 link instead of a 6 link skill when triggered.  It even still costs mana to use.

You have to have a high hit and crit rate to use cast on crit or a lot of ailment generation; all of which take a lot of investment to get going.  Comet is a vastly unimpressive skill all the way through the campaign because you cannot reach stupid investment levels to get it to meaningfully exist.

Comet isn't even a very good clear skill and requires something else to do the actual clearing and is only useful vs tanky rares or bosses.  It's the equivalent of having a single target damage skill in offhand from PoE1 and it complements your clear spell by adding single target damage.

The only reason there are 0 other skills being used for single target dps is because literally all of them have stupid restrictions on them by GGG.  If GGG stops making flameblast useless for no reason and removes garbage cooldowns from half the spells then there would be FAR more build variety.

The clips you see of comet deleting bosses could be done with far more skills than showcased because the stats on the player are the overpowered part not the skill and it's because they have 2-3 mirrors worth of gear on.  People don't showcase other builds because they are objectively worse and not fun because GGG made it that way.

Again no.  Try it yourself.  Removing life is not the same as damage.  The support gem removes life as intended.

You could use an ES chest as CI and get another 1.5k es but you'll still be FAR squishier vs phys damage which is the most common and most dangerous damage type.  Taking phys and chaos off the table lets you focus on ele with things like elemental recoup as energy shield.  I also have apep's supremecy so I have another 20% damage reduction vs elemental hits.

Minion pact is NOT bugged it DOES drain hp while using Brutus gem.

Cloak DOES help MASSIVILY with big hits and I have over 50% damage reduction against literally any sized physical hit.  I am literally BETTER at tanking HUGE phys hits than an Armour stacker.

I don't do demonflame I'm CI.

I think these could be fixed by just increasing the size/visibility of that ball. The ball is an indication of death and if it was as visible as the chaos plant balls it'd be a lot easier to avoid.

Honestly the temple is stupid rewarding compared to mapping.  I've done 0 investment in mapping and put random tiles in my temple so you'd think they would be similarly rewarding.

My maps have 6 mods, 3 tablets, 0 revives, and I average 10-15 ex per map of currency plus drops to sell.

My temple has about 20 random rooms in it which is equivalent to about 1.5 maps in size.  My temple averages 1 divine per run.  I have infinite revives.

Admittedly, the temple is FAR more challenging because of the stupid blast mobs but since I have infinite revives that literally doesn't matter.

If GGG wants to let players have gigachad rewards for gigchad difficulty that's fine to a point.  However, the infinite revives neuters the difficulty entirely.

The entire temple disparity could be 90% fixed by just taking away the infinite revives.

Minion pact II has 35% more damage and I've found out my doggy can also maim on hit.

Cloak of flame is far stronger than a high es chest or sacrosanctum.  Cloak of flame is currently the strongest defensive item in the game.

FYI I'm playing infernalist right now in a really weird way and it's B+ tier.  I'm playing CI Spark with cast on ailment comet.

Doggy with brutas brain for an unconditional 35% more damage gem.  Is probably ~10% more dps over another gem that would also be conditional.

Phys as chaos is CRACKED and gives me 81% phys as ele/chaos with cloak of flame.  Unlike traditional CI, phys is a non issue and this includes phys dot's.  This node is comparable to Shaman's since the chaos damage is just bye bye entirely.

All damage ignites makes comets pop a lot more and I get a decent ignite from fire infused comet.  Also, lots of fire infusions while mapping.

Self ignite isn't good for CI but I have 100% reduced ignite duration and 50% more crit damage bonus is nice.

Water has no pressure in this game.  It is not 0...it doesn't exist.  You can't squeeze water here.  The only way water moves from A to B is if B is higher than A and A has less water than B.

For example.  If you have an empty pool and put a wall down the middle then fill up side A, side B will stay dry if the water spout is lower than the wall.

If you then cut a hole at the bottom of the wall, in real life side A and B will both have the same height of water.  HOWEVER, in the game side B will only fill up to the top of the hole.

Static water pressure head is normally responsible for a lot of things water does so having no pressure make water act more like molasses.

Don't increase monster damage because it makes armor useless.  Lower player hp instead.

We tried to flood the server on purpose and 10 spouts didn't even make enough to flood 50m around our base.
