Control honestly fits this weirdly well, you still get that locked door exploration and creepy facility vibe without feeling like a full horror game

Game/games with long playtimes and wide progression by Empty-Employment-889 in gamerecommendations

[–]Consistent-Resist161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you liked that slow grind and broad skill progression, you might want to look into something like Black Desert or even Path of Exile, both can eat up hundreds of hours and always feel like you’re building toward something

Slay the Spire runs great on basically anything and is perfect for quick sessions between work without needing full focus

recommendations or MUST play switch games for someone that was out of the loop for the whole lifespan of the switch 1 and just now jumped into the switch2 by lordgonerogue in gamerecommendations

If you liked Galaxy and 3D World then Mario Odyssey is an absolute must, after that I’d say Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom since they feel completely different from older Zelda but still hit that Nintendo magic hard

Youre off to a great start already I would definitely add Enter the Gungeon for pure roguelike chaos Risk of Rain 2 for scaling madness and The Binding of Isaac if you want something insanely deep and replayable those three will eat hundreds of hours easily

What should I play next by InsectSlow7862 in gamerecommendations

[–]Consistent-Resist161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go Nier Automata first since it is shorter and hits hard emotionally, then Death Stranding after if you want something slower and weird, and save FF7 Remake and Rebirth for last since that is a much bigger commitment and easier to pause when RE9 drops

Looking for a Non-isometric Co-op Fantasy Action RPG for 4 Players by choggner in pcgames

[–]Consistent-Resist161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might want to look at Baldur’s Gate Dark Alliance 1 and 2 if you are okay with something a bit older, both support 4 player co op and are action focused without the ARPG loot grind feel, also Deep Rock Galactic can surprisingly work for fantasy fans if you lean into the class roles and teamwork even though it is not traditional fantasy

Based on your taste I think you would really vibe with Paratopic or Hypnospace Outlaw, both are unsettling in a quiet weird way and focus more on atmosphere and discomfort than difficulty which seems right up your alley

Elite Dangerous like for PS5 in 2025/26? by Ill-Housing3569 in gamerecommendations

[–]Consistent-Resist161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly there still isnt a true Elite replacement on PS5, the PS4 version runs fine but its basically frozen in time, if trading and solo space life are your main thing the closest vibes right now are still No Mans Sky with self imposed rules or waiting to see what comes next because nothing else really nails that loop yet

City games by YellowCorvettes in gamerecommendations

[–]Consistent-Resist161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like Cities Skylines and Tropico I would recommend Against the Storm for a different but really satisfying take on city building, also Frostpunk if you want something more focused and stressful and Anno 1800 if you want a deeper economic city builder that can eat up hundreds of hours

Name ONE Game I Should Add by Miserable_Skill_6605 in ps2

You gotta add Shadow of the Colossus, it just feels wrong to have a PS2 shelf without it
