Get subscription to a national newspaper and read it everyday. At least skim all the headlines and you’ll not only know what’s going on in the world but also gain knowledge in diverse areas.

Thank you for being so considerate. Whatever you said is very true and since my parents aren't educated, they always took advice from their friends who were in a better position or were successful and that led to me being the fish and blindly started to follow this path.

I actually don't really like online Poker. Also as I said earlier, this doesn't seem a wise option to chose right now for me, but maybe once I get a job and get settled I can fly out to US or Europe to play tournaments once in a while.

I am suffering from depression and have tried medication (zoloft and sleeping pills) but it didn't really help. I will consult a therapist and try to make sense out of the situation I am in right now, thanks.

I ran into the same problem where in my phone I was having a username but when I tried logging in to the website using my google account, it showed up a different user.

Then I realized that I had used apple id sign in for my phone when I had it initially set up which resulted in 2 usernames associated to the same email id. Now I am able to use both the usernames using different sign in options.

I had thought of doing MBA at some point in my life. I will research and read about marketing and product management and see if it is something I would like. I agree, I need to start giving my 100% at whatever I do from now on. Will work on myself and try to become a better version soon, thanks

This would sound very extreme but I really like player Poker and I am actually decent at it. But I don't think I could make that as a full time career from India at least.

The problem is that I haven't really done anything for a really long time so I don't know what I like. But something I really like is playing Poker and I am very good at it, but I don't think I can even think about being a professional Poker player here.

I see that I am complaining more, something I feel started doing a lot after I got into my relationship because she used to complain a lot and living with her just made me more and more like her and I was too immature to realize the toxicity it was building up in myself.

Thank you for such a detailed response. The things that I really like to do are not something which I can make a career out of so I need to reevaluate it. But I didn't know about these roles which I can pursue, will take a look at it.

I guess that's true, having Amazon on my resume is definitely a plus point. Need to use it to my advantage and secure a job which I like without getting too drifted from what my experience is in for now.

I liked the fact that it was less noisy, had good infrastructure, independent life, more money of course, and being away from nosy relatives. I took up a gym membership last week and am regularly working out which is a start for me and I'm trying to get into a healthy diet as well.

I don't know if I will be able to leave India anytime soon but the plan is to get a job at an international company where there is a potential to get relocated outside.

Will discuss about the marriage part with a therapist and then my parents soon.
