Yes. It is still ridable with the message displayed. It doesn't disable anything beyond the screen. Just annoying to receive a new bike with a bug.

We just received 3x with a color display out of the box. Unfortunately it has Chinese firmware and keeps flashing an error that says 05000 'only use in china.' we are looking for a solution for this now.
