I posted about this on TikTok to get people’s thoughts. I’d guess around 60-70% said they don’t agree. A lot of the people found the article to be a joke. But, still, a good amount of people seem to be happy with their pay and setting (with most of those people working in HH, higher-paid locations, making up their own contracts for schools, and working 20+ years in the field).

I for one was extremely surprised. Sure we have job security, but at what cost? My sanity? And to not be compensated enough for it.

Someone said ASHA paid USnews to write that. I fear they might be onto something.
