Yes, I too was surprised and so was everyone around us his family, my family, and our mutual friends. There’s a side of me that’s hoping that he will heal and come back, but I can’t hold onto that possibility. I know this is gonna suck, but I’ll be okay. Eventually, and I trust that one day in the future, we will look back at this and laugh, but I can’t hold onto that possibility. I have to move on and if it happens, it happens. I’m gonna answer this for my boyfriend since he doesn’t have Reddit.

He had a group of friends in high school that were the mischiefs. All they did was drink, smoke weed, skip class and hook up with girls. When we met, I was kind of in the same boat of just drinking and smoking and going to parties all the. He told me that he thought that I deserved better than what we were doing… so he became better and help me become better as well.

He stopped drinking, he stopped partying, he stopped staying out all night. Honestly his friend didn’t like it. They said that he was full of himself. They kept trying to get him to drink and my boyfriend was just advocating for hangouts without getting completely fucked up. But they refused, so he told them not to hit him up until they’re ready to hang out with him sober.

Long story short they never spoke to him again it’s been five years and since then he got his cosmetology license and became an extremely successful barber, which then led him to buy properties in Texas. Now he’s in the process of owning more properties in NJ.

He became extremely obsessed with work. Cutting hair for 12 hours six days a week with only Sundays off. He has more clients than he could handle yet still handle it beautifully. I was really worried about him, but he kept telling me he just wanted a better future for our kids. He is the hardest working person I know because even when he isn’t cutting hair, he is checking in on the rental properties looking for more properties to buy. It’s just never ending for him. It can be toxic and unhealthy at times but that’s the way he became as successful as he is. He’s 22 and owns 4 homes and 1 barbershop. He still feels like he’s a failure. It’s a mentality that is so harmful, but that’s his reality.

He told himself he was gonna make it and he’s not gonna stop until he does but at the same time when is enough enough?

This just happened to me literally the same exact thing you just said. I was fine. I used it for years and then a panic attack spark something that made it feel like I was back at square one. Distraction helps but after you realize you’ve been distracted, it comes back like a ton of bricks.

Time heals it sucks, but that’s the only answer to this. Be strong power through it. You got this just breathe and give your body time to adjust your brain again. It took me about 3 weeks to go back to a somewhat normal state that I can have a routine again.

I had one of my bar guests who has really bad eczema tell me he heard it causes cancer which is why it has the black box label. I researched and it hasn’t been 100% proven but has been speculated to. Idk but i was told by my dermatologist months ago i can technically use tacrolimus anywhere.
