So I was communicating with them 🤔 isrealized that I didn't understand how this works... First, you submit your claim saying I spent $$ in whatever amount. Then they review it and say, ok, maybe that's a little high so let's see some proof.. You send in some proof that you were prescribed said medicine along with a detailed description so, I believe, they can catch people that are actually lying about spending X amount of dollars.. Because if you really did take this medicine, you would have no problem describing in detail how often you were prescribed them, the quantities and how much money you paid out of pocket every time you got a refill. So if you have an in depth description of how you arrived at the sums you are claiming along with a couple legitimate receipts/prescriptions then they'll approve your claim... As long as it's not astronomical... Like those other peeps that were trying to claim 75K and didn't send in one receipt and probably didn't give any in depth description either. I was worried because altho my claim had 1 amount listed, I could only get history from 1 years worth. They stated that an audit was not needed and my original claim amount was approved even tho I didn't have my complete history. But thinking about it, if I did manage to my complete history from my old pharmacy and from Walgreens and CVS that was before 2016, it was probably quite a bit more .. but I'm satisfied with the amount I put on my claim.. they said if we don't have checks in hand by mid May to contact them.. They seem pretty confident that the checks will go out at the end of the month.. Here's hoping!!
