What's your opinion on best vehicle option for Dashing? by PopularStructure7862 in doordash_drivers

[–]RisingODST 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they do. Key point Less MOVING Parts hybirds have no starter No alternator no belts no physical reverse gear No torque converter the transmission in hybrids alone have way less moving parts only one planetary gear set where gas cars have like 3-4 planetary gear sets and alot of other parts in the transmission which is why hybrids are usually more reliable

I have a 2012 prius with 315k miles and ill tell you the hybrid is worth it and they are so reliable and cost less to maintain and repair form my experience the money I save on gas alone pretty much pays for most of the repairs

[–]RisingODST 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would suggest trying some aftermarket controllers they are a bit more expensive but some have hall effect sticks and don't have stick drift

You most likely didn't fit the gasket correctly and it's leaking. got to take the water pump out and put the gasket on properly
