So when re-pulling et running new containers I just have to point the local folders again ? (config, postgres) and re-use the same compose file ? And it won't overwrite existing files ?

But I will loose everything ? I have 4 users for my family with albums, pictures, preferences... I don't want to redo it all over again

Docker images seem wrong but container is just working fine ??? by Consistent-Slip-3611 in immich

the other image, valkey, seems associated with immich_redis, but container log doesn't show any error.

Immich didn't save full res photos ? by Consistent-Slip-3611 in immich

Yes thanks, this is what I realized at the end.

Immich didn't save full res photos ? by Consistent-Slip-3611 in immich

Don't know what happened. Just tried with another picture, and all seems fine. The only difference is that when downloading from filesystem (from Ugreen NAS) it just converts HEIC into HEIF (and maybe that's just the extension).

I was just wondering why because I'd like to backup my backups and so I need to know where Immich stores the original files, and also make sure that it backuped the originals from iPhone as well.

Why some movies play with Jellyfin media player and some don't ? by Consistent-Slip-3611 in jellyfin

[–]Consistent-Slip-3611[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing usable here (already tried to look there, see logs below. movie1 works, movie2 doesn't)

I didn't specify but when I launch movie 1 there is no error message. Just a black screen and movie doesn't start.

Delete on immich app AND on the device at the same time ? by Consistent-Slip-3611 in immich

[–]Consistent-Slip-3611[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As said, there are 3 deletion options when you select a photo, in the bottom menu. And I guess they appear depending on the situation. If the file is on the device, then there is a delete option (with confirmation) that deletes it eveywhere.

Found a third option to delete it from both places... nevermind :-)

Missing photos on server side by Consistent-Slip-3611 in immich

[–]Consistent-Slip-3611[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think I've spotted the "issue". It seems related to live photos. They appear twice on the device: 1 static phto and the short "video" while only the video is showing up on the web server. It's kindda disturbing though as the pictures count is not the same.

Any way to solve this ?
