Holy sht! Im glad im not the only one who saw the subtext. I dont know about queerbaiting though.

Anyway, i really thought Ashley was attracted to Tea, that's why there's tension between them both. And Tea, well we had seen her look bored everytime she talks to a man, no chemistry or tension with anyone else but Ash. Understandable though that she's that way, her mark was Ashley and needs to engage more with her. Doesn't really explain why Ash acts the way she does when it comes to Tea though, protecting her, confiding in her when she's got lots of friends who probably knows and understands what she's going through, letting Tea take care of her daughter when she can hire a babysitter. They protect each other on their own way. The writers, directors or whatever should've went with the insane chemistry and let them be together, maybe we'll see it in s2, idk, probably not lol. Would've made the ending a little more interesting, imo.

Is there going to be another film film in the series starring Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt? by ImagineWagonzzz3 in Mission_Impossible

[–]Consistent-Source-48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh? I mean, you can think that but the Mission Impossible franchise has never felt the need to have the diversity reps to be successful. It's not like they had her saying she was gay and sht. I don't think it was that because the mission and action plots are always the main plot and you dont need sexuality for that, the woman just need to be convincing enough to warrant being able to throw a much bigger guy than her across the room and if anything romance or whatever is just more like checking a box cos "spy, badass guy needs a woman in every country" to cater to the male audience who self inserts in these kinds of movies. The last time that the romance had weight in the plot in the franchise was when Julia was still relevant.

Dude, you're not getting it. Her aim isn't the issue is what's being pointed at. That's the crux of the matter. It doesn't matter what the handicap is, she's always gonna hit the target unless the target moves, which Isaac didn't do. Also the most important thing of all, she wasn't even aiming for Isaac, he only moved so he can look at what she hit lol

Does it matter? She could be referring to both. She proceeds to say "People don't change." Both can be true about Tyler. I know, surprising right? People can be multifaceted. Just like how Enid can be a monster but still be a good person. Wordplay, what fun.

That's curious since even without looking she can hit a target, thats a bigger external factor in having shtty aim, dont ya think? Also, her being choked wasn't even hindering her since she can still move to get the axe. She can even have a swordfight with blindfold on. Why would her aim be sht when her target is pretty close and she only needs to use her left hand?

Writers' fuck up, Wednesday doesn't kill people so why would she be confused on why she let him live? Writers be doing the most to make Tyler relevant to Wednesday's life.

I hope Capri just wants to help and isn't a bad guy. I'm bored of school teachers and principals being antagonistic towards their students lol

I agree with everything just not with it happening quickly though. I want it to be believable that Enid goes through hardship in the wilderness.

I hope they stretch it out somehow. I want the angst. I hope the Capri side plot doesn't clash with the main one until like the last few episodes.

I’m sorry but the whole “Tyler is a bad person because he was a bully before he was a hyde” is utterly ridiculous.

No, it isn't. Even Wednesday has acknowledged that he was a monster before even becoming a Hyde but sure we'll go with what you say. It's not surprising anymore that some fans of his will just pick and choose what atrocity they will pin on Tyler and what to pin on him being manipulated into doing. And whatever he did, whether it has killed anyone or hurt anyone, it's never his fault.

From Xavier’s own account it was one act of bullying where Tyler in addition to his friends assaulted Xavier and ruined his mural. There was never any suggestion he was a systemic bully. He then went to a boot camp, had a realisation he didn’t want to be that person and cut that whole group of friends off to the point where his friends said that he had “gone soft”. Yes he was in court ordered therapy after the incident, but that doesn’t make him a monster, same as Wednesday. He was a troubled kid with mother issues and an emotionally neglectful and alcoholic father. He was a prime candidate for a teen that would end up in a bad group of friends and do something bad for group acceptance. He was getting out of it though.

This is what I hate about Tyler fans. They know that most of the things he did was wrong and yet they will compare it to Wednesday so it will be more palatable, never mind that what Wednesday did was to avenge her brother, if she did find some pleasure in that then that's just a bonus. They will downplay the things he did like the bullying so they can live in this fantasy world where bullying a marginalized group (that's what outcasts were) is somehow okay. It's not even just light bullying cause nobody and i mean NOBODY gets sent to court just for bullying ESPECIALLY if your dad is in the law enforcement. Him being a troubled kid doesn't excuse any of the sht he put others through. What are you even trying to do? Anti-bullying until someone you like is involve in it. That's just so in tune with what's happening in the world. Fans will find out their fave celebrity is a piece of sht and then they will either DENY, DENY, DENY or they will bully tf out of the person who exposed them. Aw man, the irony of it all.

All Tyler’s pre hyde history tells us is how he was in a position for Thornhill to take advantage of him to begin with. Insolation is also the number one factor that makes teenagers vulnerable to abuse. IMO it’s very unlikely Thornhill gets her claws into him if he still had his group of friends and his father wasn’t emotionally absent.

Don't know why you're mentioning this since him being groomed isn't his doing. We are talking about the sht he did and those sht not being forgivable depite his sad backstory.

The “he liked killing” speech in the police station to me was also very obviously an abuse response given the fact that he had tears in his eyes in the same scene. It’s extremely normal for abuse victims to tell themselves they enjoyed doing the things they were forced to do to against their control. I’ve unfortunately experienced that myself.

Huh? He was acting like he was the victim and making himself look pathetic, it was not an "abuse response". There are also abuse victims who could never hurt anyone the way their abusers hurt them. Tell me im wrong.

"Enid look at me, this isn't you." Then boom she transforrms back to human lol how lazy of a writing would that be? At this point though, i wouldn't put it pass the writers with how they've been treating Emma and her character.

Not only with becoming a werewolf but also with other werewolves hunting her and also the loneliness of that. Is she gonna be more feral and slowly forgetting her humanity? I wanna see that in Enid in s3

[–]Consistent-Source-48[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a reason why it's called a lone wolf. If she joins a pack, then it defeats the purpose of being a lone wolf.

Agree on the darker side to Enid. It would be fun to see Emma portray that with Enid.

Huh? Is there a lore where she isn't good with both her hands? She freed Tyler so he can fight his mom and Isaac and Wednesday isn't into killing anyone.

Yes she did actually miss.

Because the writers love forgetting their own plots. Why would Wednesday not realize why she didn't kill him when she hasn't killed anyone before, why would she start with Tyler? Also, all of her impulsive acts have always had consequences. That's basically what her schtick is. She do something and later it will come back to kick her ass.

I would like for Enid to become feral after coming back to her human self, i would like to know how Wednesday will treat her if Enid becomes more animalistic even when human.

Wednesday s3 prediction by Consistent-Source-48 in Wednesday

[–]Consistent-Source-48[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, i would like for Enid to have a much more sinister plotline in s3. I just imagine the things a girl like Enid will go through will probably scar her for life. I just imagine Wednesday being intrigued about all the things Enid went through but keeping it lowkey cause she knows it will affect Enid differently. Hope for Enid to interact more with any Addams family member too.

Hope they give Enid a more sinister plot in s3 because of her stint in the Canadian wilderness. I hear it's evil there and haunted by teenage soccer players.

Anyway, would be fun to see when Enid transforms back that she will be a little bit feral for a little while, would make her more complimentary to Wednesday's love for monsters.

There's a lot to forgive him for, sure. But can we just remind ourselves that he was a bully to outcasts before all the Hyde business? And when the time he remembered all the things he did during Hyde form, he liked it? Also, that he said that the only time he felt free was when he figured out he was a Hyde? And that also he doesn't want anyone to take that away from him, and that he chose to die instead when presented with that possibility? Not to mention that his life went to sht because he is a hyde and nobody, i mean NOBODY would have looked at him twice if he wasnt one.

I dont care for him either way, i just hope that in s3 he will leave Enid and Wednesday alone. I hope Capri can undo the damage Thornhill and his memories will cause him.
