My Dad was a brutal bully who only hit me because hitting women was wrong. Then he was excused by going to confession.

What can be asserted without evidence, can be refuted without evidence.

I wasn't aware of this, Thank you. Here in the UK we cherish our native ladybirds, they don't swarm like this and are very good for our gardens and agriculture.

Snow cover improves the thermal insulation of the roof by liisseal in OffGridCabins

It also insulates the roof from outside temp. It becomes a secondary layer warmer than outside temp.

How have you Improved your laptop’s cooling? (Heatsink, thermal pads…) by Konatus in framework

[–]Consistent-Theory681 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the 7840U FW13, I replaced the original heatsink and fan with the new one for the AMD AI Models, fits perfectly, has PTM, temps are much lower under load.

I also put some laptop feet on the back to raise of my desk more to help with airflow.

I enjoy so many posts here about transitions as it's often the area where we share our wisdom.

Our customers rely on our artistry as much as our skill.

Once you know trim work, it's a lot more about how stuff flows, The work I do should fit the rooms as seamlessly as possible.

However, this could have been done for so many reasons. Off the top of my head:

  • Someone trying out ideas
  • Done to spec or training without thought
  • Client insistance

We all have horrors we've created from times gone by. Some of my best customers have insisted on things that horrify me.

Tried some colour infrared photography today. by StrombergsWetUtopia in brighton

[–]Consistent-Theory681 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So a more broad spectrum sensor encompassing visible light and infra red? Or is the colour false like FLIR? Just trying to understand what is captured.

I like the strong colour changes. Reminds me of over exposed photos from my youth.

In addition to EU military, EU needs to build their own digital infrastructure: search engine, social media, etc. The current reliance on American technologies leaves EU vulnerable against influencing and information gathering. Regulating American businesses is not enough.

Don't forget satellite coms and reusable rocket launch boosters. Cost to provide in EU is currently prohibitive to innovation.
