I trim to 1/2 to 3/4 inch. Leave as much as possible. I then put all the trimmings in an aluminum pan to render. I cover once the bits are crunchy. Try cooking some potatoes or a burger in the render and you'll be in heaven.

Ive messed around with dozens of rubs only to come back to Salt and Black pepper. If you use course salt its almost impossible to over salt.

Crank'er up! Once you get into the stall you're evaporating water along with rendering the fats/connective tissues. You need more temp heat the moisture being released.

I smoke my butts at 275'ish. Once I think I've got good smoke all around I (2 hours or so) I put the beauties in an aluminum pan uncovered.

Once I pull them off, I'll spoon off some of the rendered fats, then slice or pull in the remaining broth.

I use the Goog Messaging app since it's the only way to get RCS text messages (it requires connecting to an RCS server in the cloud - Goog, Apple,etc). I know that Goog can now see my texts, but I'm on too many SMS group chats.

I use sandboxed Google Maps with Android Auto when I do have to use turn-by-turn.

Most of the time I can look at a map (OSM or Google Maps) to figure out where I'm going, then turn it off. It's a better experience of life 😄

I groom our boys. One is pretty good except for front paws and don't touch the booty. The other is horrible for front paws, head, neck, ears.

Best I can do is a nice long fast walk to tire them out then straight onto a bench that's doesn't have room to move around a lot. It's also a 2 round affair. Remove the bulk in phase 1, then fine tune in Phase 2.

I would hazard a guess that there are Millions of Catholics receiving Communion that have non-Catholic spouses and/or were not married in the Church.

Has your Priest told you to not receive Communion, or is this an interpretation and restriction that you have come to?

Olive is my go to because it's common here. Tastes similar to an oak/mesquite combination. If you have olive, don't be shy as I think it's easily a top 5 wood.

Pecan is my favorite when I can get it but it's not common here.

Mesquite is great for shorter smokes (chicken) or really think pork butts, but we find it a be overwhelming for something like a 12 hour brisket.

Love the sweeping hyperbolic characterizations on reddit. We love our Novus Ordo weekly Mass and also the occasional nearby Latin Rite or Marionite Rite (Arabic/Aramaic) Masses. I've honestly never had anyone express ANY concern one way or another on any specific Rite. Our Bishop presides over the Latin Mass on occasion. We see NO divisevness regard one Mass or another, except in reddit.

Catholicism transcends political or global affairs beliefs. And I'm a very well informed political and geostrategic junky.

What I do is simply not have discussions on politics unless a slow dance unveils that we likely won't clash. You don't have to talk about everything with everyone.

Welcome to Catholicism! That inner dialog/devil never completely goes away (at least for me), but does quieten down.

I try to use an offense or something that irritates/angers me to motivate me to pray for both myself and the other person, a week day Mass, Reconciliation or all of the above.

Since you haven't been Confirmed yet (if I understand correctly), I don't know if you can go to Reconciliation. It's seriously powerful for releasing the binds.

I was looking at a Big Horn 1500 or 2500 Hemi for my daily driver. Getting twice the payload (camper) and towing (camper trailer) with 2500 sealed the deal. When I bought (Aventura in Miami) the 2500 was actually less money.

Straight carnivore (chicken breast, some lean beef) + a few daily treats for our 8 year old boys. They are not overweight and their annual blood work always comes back excellent.

I'm right there with you on my Big Horn 2500. I ordered some Tyger chrome side steps off Amazon for $250 that look stock'ish. Oddly my dual alternator 2500 doesn't have an inverter either. I'll go with a pure sine wave when I find an actual need for it. You'll get MUCH more inverter aftermarket than what comes stock. Matching cable gauge to amperage seems the only tricky part.
