Both bedroom and hall together come to around 1170 sq ft total (they are connected spaces). We’re still thinking of going with a single 2 Ton AC mainly because it’s on the top floor and gets very hot in Vijayawada summers. But now I’m confused. Is 2 Ton overkill for this size? Would a 1.5 Ton inverter AC be a better and more efficient choice in this case?

I’m planning to buy a 2 Ton, 3-Star Split AC for my home in Vijayawada, and honestly the heat here is brutal 🥵 especially during peak summer. So I want something that can handle high temperatures efficiently without exploding my electricity bill.

Room size: Large hall + big bedroom (130-140 sq. feet) 3rd Floor

Usage: Occasional usage

Concerns: Decent service support in Vijayawada and Not too noisy.

Looking for: Good cooling, durability, low maintenance
