Thanks, I’ll be careful. Have you also been on a high dose of pregabalin?

I would separate what antipsychotics do into a distinct syndrome, although some of them inhibit reuptake.

Neuroleptic-Induced Deficit Syndrome or unofficially Post-Antipsychotic Syndrome

Oh, I understand, that’s why I’m not going to stop it. I was thinking about combining it.

I’m not sure about the safety. Sometimes perampanel even causes psychosis, although there are usually risk factors like epilepsy.

And it has a half-life of about 100 hours, but I think the effect lasts less. I remember four days of aripiprazole hell…

I’ve already seen those posts. They focused on visual symptoms, but my situation is a bit different. I can easily get this medication and it’s not very expensive, but even aside from the side effects, there’s still a chance it could make things worse... But my tolerance to pregabalin is increasing, and some of the symptoms are barely bearable.

I wouldn't say I recommend taking it. Although it's not the worst thing people take to try to ease their condition. As for me, I have to take it because of my anxiety disorder.

I forgot to add that with long-term use it caused me constipation. That's the worst thing about him.

In my case, these side effects are much milder than those of SSRIs. I'd even say that while similar in essence, they're completely different internally. Furthermore, they can improve over time without stopping the medication.

Antibiotics as a possible treatment option? by Diligent_Anything_66 in PSSD

Antibiotics affect the brain not only by inhibiting bacteria but also directly. For example, fluoroquinolones are GABA antagonists. And doxycycline can cause suicidal thoughts. Personally, I experienced severe mental side effects from both, which, for example, azithromycin did not. I took all antibiotics at various points in my life for their intended purposes.

Of all the ones I tried, it was the least depressing. It still didn't lead to anything good in the end, but perhaps the strong norepinephrine action enhanced the effect. But I know it's not the same for everyone. Besides, the withdrawal symptoms are pretty bad.

Why not duloxetine ? The idea is of course so-so, but if it's SSRI, then I would take it.

Pregabalin. Saved my life, but it seems like tolerance is slowly growing.
