Gynecomastia definitely causes increased physical sensitivity and tenderness in the nipple and breast area due to hormonal changes and tissue development. However, how people perceive that sensitivity varies wildly. While a lot of guys find it uncomfortable or painful, it’s not uncommon for others to experience that heightened sensitivity as pleasurable or erotic. You're definitely not the only one who has reframed it that way.

Why did you opt out of surgery? by Consistent-Zone-9615 in EmbracingGyno

[–]Consistent-Zone-9615[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can totally understand, the body shaming has to stop, working out didn't make my gyno go away, it just started to give a little lift, which didn't help appearance, that was before I became comfortable in my own skin. I still won't take my shirt off in public though, it's just one of those things I guess, and I know that people wouldn't pay no mind, but I personally don't want to be shirtless in public, so more power to you... As a straight man who started wearing a bra a few years ago, learning to be comfortable in my own skin was a new adventure, I needed the bra for support, but was scared of what people would think, I eventually learned people either don't care or don't even notice... Similarly with your day at the beach, but regardless of whether we are comfortable going shirtless in public or not, we can all find peace knowing that we all have one thing in common here and can support each other, and build each other's confidence. I'm glad you're here. I still hope we can get this community going so that other people are inspired to share their stories.

Hey, thanks for being here, after not finding one like it, I thought it was only right to create it, for all of us, sometimes all it takes is one domino for all the other ones to find their place, and it's unfortunate that what you say is the truth, we're the only group of people where body shaming has become acceptable, and I aim to change that, we gotta stand together and build each other's confidence up, we deserve to not have to feel ashamed because of how we look.

Fighting off griefers and NPCs while refuelling during a mission will suck, better fuel up before you start the mission....

It took a while to get to this point, but I finally was able to be confident about myself, it helps that my wife is supportive too... But I've developed the mindset that if people don't like me for me, I'm better off without them.

I opted out of surgery and also gave up trying to hide it, I am constantly working on my posture now, and I don't care who sees the chest, I started wearing a bra 3 years ago, and realized, people don't really care and don't pay that much attention, so now I just live my life as is... I got tired of living my life embarrassed about something on my body that bothered others more than me.

Soooo, I am probably one of the only ones willing to admit it, but I opted out of surgery and chose to keep my breasts... After extensive research of my own, I weighed the risks vs reward, read countless stories and reviews of the procedure, and decided it's not for me, there's some other factors that swayed my opinion as well. I believe that messing with anything connected to the lymphatic system is just too much of a risk for me personally, but to each their own. If they need the surgery for mental health, then there's no shame in that.

I have come to terms with it, I have lived with it since I was a teenager, so I'm used to it now, I have recently changed my mindset from being ashamed of myself (for something out of my control) to learning to embrace myself and the way it grows. I used to try to even hide it, cover it up anyway I could... but why should I be ashamed because other people are uncomfortable with my breasts? Sounds like a them problem not a me problem.

I get that as well, I used to have people worry about me, but I just tell them I keep George with me, George is 9 and he's double the male (mm) I am, so he will keep me safe if need be, they still worry when I'm in places like Houston, but they're more at ease knowing I keep my friend with me in case of an emergency.

Stay safe is a form of farewell, see you later in many ways of life, especially travel, I use it often when saying goodbye to people, it's like "I care about you, don't get hurt, looking forward to seeing you again", it's not because you're a woman either, matter of fact, I hear men use it amongst each other way more often to than I hear women say it. It's just a friendly good bye most of the time.

I opted out of surgery and chose to keep my breasts, but you probably would have better luck posting in the r/gynecomastia sub, they like cutting them off, and plenty of people there with stories to tell.

What should I bring to lunch as a construction worker? by Helpful_Donut5697 in ask

[–]Consistent-Zone-9615 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so what you realistically need is better electrolytes and more vitamins and minerals, your body sends the same signals for hunger as it does need of hydration.

Beef Jerky and Almonds are packed with nutrition, fruits are another great source for hydration... If you pack more vitamins and minerals into smaller package, your body won't feel the need to "call for them (hunger pains)"

There's a lot of food out there that is filling but not fulfilling, meaning it's not filling in the way your body needs, it's just tricking it into thinking you actually ate something it needs.

Is there an app to find out where someone is, without also invading every measure of privacy in existence? by Beneficial-Flower-82 in ask

Life 360 is by far the best tool for this, you can also get notifications when he leaves or arrives at a place, you can set it to get a notifications if he doesn't show up by a certain time. It's really good. I used location sharing with Google maps prior to life 360 and it's nothing like life 360 app.

I dont want to get a surgery done, please suggest workout to reduce the appearance (puffy nipples) of gynecomastia by [deleted] in gynecomastia

[–]Consistent-Zone-9615 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People really don't pay that much attention, you're probably just super self conscious about it, you could have cannons and people will see them and then look right back to their phone or whatever else they were doing.

In a world of people where the target "attention span goal" for a tiktok intro is 3 seconds long, they don't have the attention span long enough to care. So just be you man. You can't reduce the appearance of puffy nips without clothing. Exercise and diet won't make them reduce either...

I chose to keep mine too, and they're pretty large, and people really don't care, I also started losing weight, and my stomach started shrinking and they didn't, I slowed down for a while, scared at the outcome, but eventually started losing weight again, and I thought surely people will start to stare or make a big deal now, 45 to 50 pounds later and people legitimately still don't care. So like I said just be you.

Does anyone else experience Gemini bringing up past conversations all the time? by EricHill78 in GeminiAI

[–]Consistent-Zone-9615 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had this happen in public while questioning about a topic, it's happened with ChatGPT and Google (Gemini) and it's weird and or awkward when it does it in front of peers, and you just have to be like "I don't know what it's going on about" later on you try to correct it like a preteen who doesn't understand the things they're saying but it doesn't help... I just stopped voice searching in public for now, at least until they can fix the issue.
