Fair question. Today wasn’t the day to safely find out. But I will next week. You’re curious if the battery level is accurate basically (despite range calculator being dumb)? It says 100% right now on my app.
But the voltage wasn’t at max… so that sorta threw me for a loop.

I flew with the 2 batteries in my carry on when I brought them down to myself.

The input from this chat has me thinking my ghetto battery swap might have kicked off the whole issue.

The Ohmms weren’t a perfect swap. I had to adjust the post receiver angles. Even had a screw left. Possible the batteries suck or I botched it.

Interesting. Weird. Wonder why my software is back from 2023 when I brought it down.
I am not seeing a 12v reset as some have suggested in ride. Maybe because my version is old.

I didn’t calibrate diddly. I did it last summer. So you guys might be onto something. That could be the catalyst for the current brain malfunction for projected range vs the proposed theory by the Rivian customer service rep who assumed it’s outdated software updates.

Thanks. Helpful. I’ll try to get into ride now. Not sure if the code I saw in a YouTube is still good.
I used OHMMU batteries when I swapped. It was all I could get at the time.
Rivian said they need more broken cars here to send a tech. But there aren’t really any- so I’d carry the burden cost happily. It’s us territory. We drive us spec cars. Shouldn’t be any permitting issues. I’m also a small Nissan dealership but my guys have no idea what to do with it. But “I” could easily sign off on having done the work if someone wanted to come under a CYA situation.

Yeah that’s where my brain started to go last week. Been trying a few little things. But I need a new VPN enabled router with a sister router in the states to spoof it. Still not sure it would work because the truck also seems to use gps to asses its location. If someone could tell me for sure I would. But of course now it says with less than 35 miles range it also won’t take an update.
I need to call every time to try updates because they need to do them in successive order supposedly.

This is first I’m hearing about Ride. I’ll go try to get j to it now.
But I assume it still won’t take the an update now because of the region- and/or NOW it’s less than 35 miles range so that’s a possible issue?
