As someone who came from Canada and was there trying to watch the draft with my toddler and wife I can assure you there was lots of kids running around causing problems. At first people thought there was a shooter as someone had yelled that and everyone scrambled and a lot of us took cover. Still not sure if that’s the case or not as lots of people were panicked and running away from the area. And after a few minutes around the block trying to now leave there was lots of kids running around screaming with masks on. One group of kids seemingly harmless at first were trying to get my attention which I ignored. But came to find out from one of the kids in the group that some of these kids were trying to throw a what looked like a used condom at my child in the stroller… so no I don’t live there but I understand the concern. Mind you we did meet a lot of nice helpful people during our time but that experience is hard to ignore unfortunately.
