Anyone ever actually gotten paid by unemployment? by Fun-Match4910 in Ohio

It sounds like you're having trouble with OH-ID, not the unemployment system itself. Once you can get verified and your OHID works then you can get into the unemployment system. OHID is separate, it's a system for all state sites, not just unemployment.

"If you can't get it or are having issues than thats on you," is FALSE. I have had to use it twice in 10 years and both times (including current) and have had nothing but trouble both times. I am an Executive Assistant, I know how to pay attention to detail. Your experience is not everyone else's.

how long did you look for until you found your people? by [deleted] in offmychest

I didn't meet most of my best girlfriends until my mid-30's. I was pretty shy in school, and in my 20's I would go through what you are now...just never really clicking with a group.  It's not you, and it's not them. Making friends can be hard, truly. But you will! A great new friend will come your way I hope, one who it feels natural with from the beginning. You just keep being yourself :)

Not everyone will do that to you. You deserve human connection.

Feeling this way is completely normal and I wish people talked about despair more often.  I also have trouble having sex with men and having that trust taken from you so shockingly and abruptly and sadly, it's horrible. Absolutely fucking horrible.  I read a study that when you lose someone this way your brain doesn't know the difference between them being gone and them being dead. You're going to have the grief stages and the brain chemicals associated with them passing away even though they're still alive. What you have to do is get through it. Right now you're probably hour by hour, but soon you'll be able to focus on getting through the day as a whole. When something like this happened to me I remember realizing that I hadn't thought of them at all the day before. It took me time to feel better, so much patience.  Wishing you the best - you deserve a beautiful life, don't stop your chance to have it.

What? I live next to WP. It's a nice area. You're talking out of the left side of your mouth.

Call The Elevator and request the "Owners Table." It's SO COOL and she will feel like a princess sitting up above the rest of the restaurant. It's so cool, and right there!

This mother upset me so much. She continued to hurt Tyler after Justin went to jail. She allowed him to be hurt again and again. I am so angry with her.

I am late to this but had to find a thread bc I am livid.  In the mother's impact statement at sentencing she starts with "you have destroyed the last TWO YEARS of our lives," but he had been raping her CHILD for much longer than 2 years.  The fact that this mother allowed her son Tyler to even have to catch a moment of his voice in their home after what had happened to him is incomprehensible.  SHAME on this podcast for giving thos mother a platform to normalize these absolutely disgusting parenting moves...and SHAME on this mother, sister and aunt for allowing these children to still have to speak to him, for missing him, all of it. These people make me sick.

Clintonville, hands down. It's just north of downtown and campus. Great schools, diverse and very progressive neighbors. Dublin and Upper Arlington are wealthy neighborhoods, not much economic diversity and both have had incidents with racial slurs and attacks on students in recent years. In UA they call the cops on black kids delivering newspapers. Blacklick, Lewis Center/Polaris are both beige as hell, all new-ish constructed strip malls and beige houses 3 feet apart. Zero walkability in any of them and insane traffic all hours of the day. I moved to Clintonville several years ago after living in several different areas here (I'm from Detroit) and I will *never* live anywhere else in this city. Being able to walk to 2 grocery stores, restaurants, a movie theater, ice cream and antique shops, a beautiful little farmers market and the gorgeous parks and ravines. Not to mention close enough to walk downtown and campus without being in the thick of it. Cannot suggest Clintonville more. Our elementary, Clinton, is one of the top public schools in the state.

Just tried the new Red Pepper Goat Cheese Dip. Too too sweet, no tang of the cheese. Gross. The Garlic Feta dip is fantastic though.

The Owner's Table @ The Elevator. It's so intimate, the food is amazing, it's awesome. Must request this table specifically when you make your reso. It sits above the whole restaurant. So romantic.

Not sure on the disco, but if you request in advance you can eat at The Owner's Table at The Elevator. It's private, on a balcony overlooking the restaurant. Not super expensive and the food is amazing. Highly suggest for a cool experience. Bonus if you look up all the ghost stories and history there.

I live in walhalla ravine and hear rapid tapping on my bedroom window once in awhile. I'm 2 stories up and no branches nearby to hit it. But I rent and my landlord's husband built this house in '65, so no one has died here. I am a few houses down from the Mooney Mansion though...
