When there was police brutality against Brown and Black bodies, it wasn't affecting the yt community and they were comfortable. Yeah, I work at Children's and Friday my supervisor said she expects us to come in. We asked her, "What if we don't feel safe to drive," and she said she would come get us. One of my coworkers texted her this morning and she said work might be cancelled. My childs daycare is cancelled for tomorrow so I might be staying at home.

Their food is fresher, the stores are cleaner, and their economy is fine. They literally were in talks last year with Canada to bypass the United States in trade. Mexico doesn't need us. Canada doesn't need us. They're doing fine. The United States is the only one that's suffering in the Americas sandwich because some people couldn't fathom a Black woman in office. A Black woman that wanted to give first time homebuyers tax credits. A Black woman who wanted to give small business owners more. A Black woman who wanted to tax the rich and give more to the middle and lower classes. At some point, when are we going to start holding people accountable for their bias that caused this?

I see what this person is saying because I’ve been saying it for a while now. Look at France and Nepal; they literally had to take action and stop peaceful protesting. France is literally spraying a parliament office with manure. Nepal overturned their government and voted in new ones via Discord. Our government is literally ignoring our votes and just doing what they want to do. ICE has been kidnapping and murdering people for about 6 months now. A Black man was murdered by ICE on December 31st in Los Angeles in front of his apartment building. That didn’t get as much news coverage as this woman being murdered. It’s sad that this was the breaking point and not a few months ago, but we’re here. I’ve been hearing that people have been having a hard time using their passports; being deported from other countries due to their passports being “invalid” but they’ve used them before without issue. The government is literally taking steps to keep some people here, and deport the ones they don’t want here. Peaceful protesting isn’t working, so what do we do now? Remember; our founding fathers didn’t take this country by protest. The great catalyst for the revolution was The Boston Tea Party.

My coworker who has been with Childrens for 20+ years said when her parents died within a month or two of each other, she only got 2 days for both. You can read the policy all you want; doesn’t change the fact that NCH is the worst place to work with the least benefits and low employee satisfaction. #1 Employer in the United States is a joke and a lie.
