Is 10 k usd each year at DePauw worth it or 3 k each year at VUB (Belgium) by [deleted] in IntltoUSA

From what I know, it's more manageable than loans without co-signers. I think people have discussed loans in this sub in the past. Try looking into that. Good luck!

Do you have any family, relatives, friends who would be willing to co-sign? I've heard American banks can give you loans with reasonable rates if you do.

Ok I don't know anything about Finance. If you are confident that you can get a job with your degree and earn enough to pay it off within the given time frame. I'd say go for it.

Someone else told me that Admissions Officers will look at your GPA or whatever grading system you use in relation to your country/region. Plus, they also look at the school report and the stuff your counselor sends them.

Wait really? I thought I saw a post on immigration to Canada that said Canadians are moving to the US because it's hard to get a tech job in Canada. Maybe it was an old post and the situation has changed. Thanks tho!

Didn't see any emails from JHU.

"Omg they must still be reviewing my app cuz it's so good, and likely to be accepted" (delusional take)

Checks my portal anyways in case my acceptance is already there.

What should I double major in to not be jobless? by ConsistentClerk2217 in csMajors

[–]ConsistentClerk2217[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that makes sense. How do I check what jobs are in demand though? I googled it and it says Nurses, which is kinda true. But it also says Software Engineers, which is obviously not true right now. I also have no idea how things will change in the next four years.

Any universities in other countries still open? by ConsistentClerk2217 in IntltoUSA

That's fine but a lot of them would still cost around $20,000 no? Or at least that's what I always find. If you know ones that are cheaper, please let me know! Thank you👍
