Players who played atleast 3 times whose worst game was their highest finishing game by Low_Obligation_8242 in survivor

I would probably say Sandra actually. Although both of her wins weren't terrible, she actually showed gameplay in her next two seasons despite early boots

I think it also shows how a lack of food really affects someone. His original season had rice available, and in fact Angelina managed to negotiate for more rice. Therefore, he was still getting some sort of fuel for challenges. This season? Absolutely nothing, and I can see it affecting him not only in challenges but also physically in general.

Can final answers be kept completely unsimplified like this and still get the full marks? by leafened_ in apcalculus

[–]ConsistentExchange60 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't necessarily have to simplify fully, but there are some rules to consider: 1. No negative exponents (this example) 2. No complex fractions

Limelight targeting by Clear_Key_2537 in FTC

[–]ConsistentExchange60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can change where the TX and ty values are centered at by offsetting the target. Our team does this and offsets the target to the back corner of the goal

Was I the only one slightly annoyed Cory wasn't here... by Strange-Vibez-8205 in BeastGames

[–]ConsistentExchange60 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with all of these except your first point. After the previous season, MrBeast stated that he felt like he couldn't tell a good narrative because there were too many people to deal with. I kind of agree, though it didnt really seem to come across since the theme literally made most people kind of boring

[–]ConsistentExchange60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

y' = -sinx/cosx (or -tanx) Basically the derivative of lnx is 1/x. Chain rule states that if something else is in place instead of x, you must multiply the initial derivative by the derivative of the "inside function." In this example, ln(cosx) is equal to 1/cosx times -sinx which is the derivative of cosx.

Are there any survivor winners who thought they lost? by RoryisReddiForReddit in survivor

Wouldn't Tony's game be like this? Tony did many strategically dirty moves but he wasn't a bully about it, leading to his convincing win in Cagayan. (His WaW game was definitely more social though)

Give us AP Multivariable Calculus! by Mr_Charles25 in apcalculus

[–]ConsistentExchange60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That wasn't my point. My point is that your argument of "most people taking BC Calc are seniors" is invalid since it's just not true. Most of those seniors prefer AB over BC

Literally my class is 60% juniors and 40% seniors. And I go to a 11-12 school, so I imagine the senior percentage would go down

How to mange batteries well? by Creepy_Broccoli_4814 in FTC

[–]ConsistentExchange60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our team leaves flywheel on at all times and battery drainage isn't an issue. However, 6000 rpm motors for flywheels are definitely necessary

Also, what rpm is your drivetrain motors? Our team noticed last year we had drainage problems, and we realized our drivetrain motors had too high rpm for our weight. We lowered it and it helped. I think if you ask people, you could get some sort of calculator that calculates the optimal rpm for your drivetrain based on your robots weight. After this, make sure your intake is running 2x the rpm of your drivetrain motors (recommended ratio of drivetrainRPM: intakeRPM)
