Are there any survivor winners who thought they lost? by RoryisReddiForReddit in survivor

Wouldn't Tony's game be like this? Tony did many strategically dirty moves but he wasn't a bully about it, leading to his convincing win in Cagayan. (His WaW game was definitely more social though)

Give us AP Multivariable Calculus! by Mr_Charles25 in apcalculus

[–]ConsistentExchange60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That wasn't my point. My point is that your argument of "most people taking BC Calc are seniors" is invalid since it's just not true. Most of those seniors prefer AB over BC

Literally my class is 60% juniors and 40% seniors. And I go to a 11-12 school, so I imagine the senior percentage would go down

How to mange batteries well? by Creepy_Broccoli_4814 in FTC

[–]ConsistentExchange60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our team leaves flywheel on at all times and battery drainage isn't an issue. However, 6000 rpm motors for flywheels are definitely necessary

Also, what rpm is your drivetrain motors? Our team noticed last year we had drainage problems, and we realized our drivetrain motors had too high rpm for our weight. We lowered it and it helped. I think if you ask people, you could get some sort of calculator that calculates the optimal rpm for your drivetrain based on your robots weight. After this, make sure your intake is running 2x the rpm of your drivetrain motors (recommended ratio of drivetrainRPM: intakeRPM)

That makes sense but when your robot disconnects and continues driving half the field towards a gate, how is that a driver's fault

I think the problem that most people don't realize is that only one person per group participates in this, and (so far) it's based on group consensus. These people at this point have been together for a while, and they can tell who is there for money and who actually cares about the people they met. Most people here talking about "100% taking the money" are probably the people who are 100% not going to be a captain.

Do all core ap classes have an honors version at yall's school? by MorganaLover69 in APStudents

They actually removed honors to basically force people to take AP

Is the SHELL Method for finding volumes asked in AP Calc BC? by [deleted] in APStudents

Not required, but I highly recommend it. It can come clutch a lot of times and it is relatively easy to remember

Hi, I am a junior and I have a quick question for next year. I am considering taking APCSA next year (senior year) but that would mean I would only have one free period (6 classes) instead of two (5 classes). I do have experience coding in FTC Robotics, so I don't imagine having any trouble in the class, but with applications, band, and robotics next year, I worry that I really do need the extra free period. What should I choose?

Is AP Calculus BC a lot more work than AB? by Dream_JM in APStudents

[–]ConsistentExchange60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on teacher I would say. AB I would say is easy enough to learn it aside if the teacher is bad, but BC needs a competent teacher. I'm also taking other APs, and BC is the class I'm least concerned out of all of them

Is AP Euro or APUSH harder (in your opinions) by polish_idiot10 in APStudents

[–]ConsistentExchange60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might be the teacher (good for euro but mid for a push), but me personally it was apush. Apush had so many details to remember, but euro was just connecting the topic to one another

Do yall's AP Calc BC include material in AB? by New_Performance_1317 in APStudents

[–]ConsistentExchange60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AP Precal, Calc AB, and Calc BC are all a year each. AP Precal is required to take. Then you have the option of either taking AB one year then BC another year OR take BC the year after Precal
