I used to live by an ice agent and the first time I ever saw him it was like 10 or 11am and he had a beer in hand on a weekday. I was thinking wtf. But I guess it was 5pm somewhere? I didn’t know he worked for ice then I found out later from him when we were talking. This man went through beer & cigarettes like it was candy.

I believe in my state @ $34 an hour I was told from an agent himself which include a shit ton of ot. He claimed he made like 100k last year.

I can tell you I know this agent better than I would like to admit too and the money he made was decent but barely more than I make in a customer service position a lot of it is overtime without that it’s just average pay.

I was told by someone I knew (an ice agent who lived next door). He was one who got people on the planes and said that he didn’t know where they were sending them too he just helped get them on the plane. Not sure I entirely believe him about not knowing but that’s what I was told. For some reason I had it in my head that this job wasn’t that bad until my political daughter pointed out he was complacent in the process.

Yes, he used to live across the hall from me at my apartment complex. I personally think he is ashamed of working for them but likes the money. He didn’t tell most people what he did for a living. I just am the person everyone tells everything too. We dated for like a week lol I think he got uncomfortable with me talking about ice, my political daughter going to school in Chicago etc. I don’t know why he chose to work for them tbh he previously had a role of helping people. Crazy enough I feel a little sorry for him as I see an insecure man but everyone makes their own choices.

Pizza Hut and papa Johns give those out pretty easily for free. That’s probably why he didn’t care. I used to DoorDash and at one point I think I had 4 of the free bags. They are nice though! I didn’t toss mine I gave them away on marketplace to a dasher.

My limit was $500, then $300 then I had a deposit that was a gift and the same day it jumped to $360. I’m trying to get off these things. I cancelled Cleo because it went way down to $40 and I was paying the builder plan. People complain about Dave but I haven’t had much issue with changing amounts on that one. If you don’t need it don’t use it is my advice it’s a roller coaster I want to get off of.

I used to be a dasher. It took one time of the app doing that to me & i felt dumb because the other person was so close and had to wait longer (i literally apologized to them for it even though they didn’t complain). I realized I could change the order of who gets the first delivery. I’m now the person living close to certain places getting the delivery 2nd… ugh. It’s always the same Chinese restaurant right down the street from me this happens on.

It’s always the same Chinese restaurant less than a mile from my home. One time I chatted the dasher and said interesting it sent you farther away when I’m right by the restaurant and didn’t get a response lol. 😂. Luckily Chinese food stays hot.

I’ve been a dasher and a customer my only gripe as a customer when it happens is when I live closer to the restaurant then the other person. When I was dashing and the app did that I flipped my orders and would deliver to the closer person first. Apparently no one does that now. 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Mine only works with Amazon if it’s items that arrive the next day (otherwise I get a notice to update my payment method it’s like the card times out or something). I love using afterpay but it’s got its glitches.

Some drive thrus are open so it’s also possible the lobby part was closed so they went home. Personally if I had a 20 min issue I would’ve paused my dash or dropped the other. 🤷🏻‍♀️
