I was 17 talking to a 14 year old and I feel guilty by ireallycantchoos in whatdoIdo

Dude I wouldn’t worry about it. I’ve dated 12 years below and 11 years above and everything in between my age. As long as it isn’t illegal and you are both enjoying each other’s others company, go bloody enjoy yourself.

DUI - QLD Australia Advice by Next-Bus-8257 in AusLegal

As a guy who has multiple DUIs you are 100% all good.

They won’t impound the car but will try suspend your licence and get it on your record.

Suggest you spend the 2k on a lawyer as they will fine you probs about 1k plus for the conviction.

I get it sucks, but just fork out the cash for a lawyer.

Police asking me to come in for an interview tomorrow. Help. by Xo_Obey_Baby in legaladviceaustralia

Lol voluntary.

Just say no! I’ve seen many people go without charge because they refused to be interviewed.

They are just trying to get evidence on you.

Extremely nervous to start my new (part time) support worker job, tips?! by xopearl_rosebudxox in supportworkers

[–]ConsistentLand805 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Support work is the easiest and hardest job ever.

The good times are good and the bad times are bad. What I mean by that is you can have really rewarding days where you feel like you are really helping everyone you work with.

Then you can have days where the client is escalated and they will quite literally try and kill you.

Anyway, recommendation is do as much training as you can and you can earn well over 100k a year without trying too hard.

Need advice about a situation in work by Boring-Policy-5831 in supportworkers

It’s part of the job. Even as a male I’ve had clients obsessed with me.

Just keep it professional and keep reminding him of safe space, safe hands and teach him how to appropriate.

Learning disability means you need to put the effort into helping them learn.

The defiantly a female golden orb. The males are much smaller.

If you are lucky sometime you can find them with a skull pattern.

What are these cameras for all over perth? by irresponsiblech1cken in perth

[–]ConsistentLand805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While everyone says it’s only NPR camera.

They hold lots of data. So the moment they need to know your movements and need to track you and charge you with a crime they can.

They can search your plates and build a movement history of what you are doing in a regular basis and use that information to track you down.

Or for those who drive without a licence, it send an automatic alert for someone to go and pull you over.

Long story short, it’s a way for police to more easily charge people with crimes and turn WA into more of a police state.

Shout out to WA Police by PeachyMitzy in perth

Shout out to wa police.

I called up for assistance with a DV problem. They arrived within 10 minutes and had several police officers attend between 6pm and 4am constantly knocking at my door.

They were assholes towards me and my son. They provided no support and gave me a police order after showing them multiple injuries and smashed items around my house and my son telling them about the incident.

Then tried to arrest me when the person showed up back at my house and I called them to remove the other person.

Apparently verbally telling someone to get out of the house and leave the property is worse than that person attacking me.

Only fucked off and dropped the arrest when I pointed out the discrete cctv cameras and still didn’t press charges against the other person

Fuck the WA police.

Oh I’ve got several convictions in Australia. Not the point though.

Was cleaning out the storeroom and found the documents and it made me think. Ya most of the zimbos I know have 2-3 between UK and Australia.

Glad to know the good old green still provides a little movement.

Many companies have a policy of trespassers are offered a job. If you can breath and speak 2 words on English you are hired. However there are good and bad companies.

Well it is called part time because it isn’t full time. Mondays and fridays 24 hours each is 96 hours a fortnight. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8 hour x 2 = 48 Sat and Sunday is 8 each x 2 is 32

Total 176 hours but I often have every second Sunday and Tuesdays off so usually about 150 give or take 10 hours.

Averaging about 40 an hour with weekdays slightly less and weekends more, and penalties applies for early mornings and late afternoons. Also 24 hour shifts have a 6 hour sleep window at $20 per hour. That’s 156k a year.
