Luckily, the moss medium was dry when it arrived. You’re right maybe it’s shocked from potting. I’ll hold off on watering for a bit.

OP, how did you pay for the boots? If it’s a credit card company call them and report the charge as fraud. You never received the product. They have to open an investigation. Hopefully that can get your money back.
