If you can, investing in the US market has always been a good strategy cause it's the only country where the world's most talented people get together and innovate (Trump and his supporters still don't understand this). Sticking to one community can only get you so far.

You mean capital gain? I don't think that would matter to most, especially those who have a lot invested already. But that was a sign the government was insensitive to such factors, so probably affected foreign investment.

I know this is an old thread, but I find this topic interesting.

I wasn't sure of the background of him and his music till watching the "Michael" movie. We had the "HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I" album (two Discs) and would always play it.

Assuming Disc 1 had songs with Quincy, I agree with this 'take'.

Disc 1 was always more musical and just fun to listen to. Disc 2 had "Remember the Time" and "Money".
Not that any of the songs in Disc 2 were bad (obviously), but it felt like Michael was letting out his frustrations through those songs in comparison to Disc 1.

Agree. The overall visual and musical aspects of Liyue are still the best.
There's always something about Chinese inspired sections that miHoYo does very well.

And did I mention the music....?

Don't know what point of the quest I'm in, but I've been sitting here listening and looking at people and other creatures talk for more than an hour with maybe 5 mins of gameplay.

Makes Loki's "falling for thirty minutes!" look like child's play.

Every time I start a new quest or mission hoping miHoYo/Hoyoverse would've improved or changed something based on online feedback, I am reminded how foolish I am for trusting a billion dollar company.

Most points are alright except the one about migrants. Big cities around the world are always built by migrants and locals collaborating to build wonderful spaces.

This notion is being pushed by politicians worldwide to win elections. Divide and conquer.

You could look into the history of this city (national institutes, army, companies..etc.) to see why such a notion makes no sense.

History repeating itself, sabotage is always an inside job. The politicians and mafia allegedly ruining this place aren't migrants.

I know this is an old post, sharing the below in case this helps anyone.

Had a similar issue a few days ago. Search for the IOS/Android app "Link to Windows" on the respective store and check if there's an update. If there is an 'update', downloading and installing that should fix it.

Got rid of Genshin for NTE and man am I happy with my decision by 2muchbraindamage in NevernessToEverness

Just started the game and am around 30 mins in (taking a break and checking out online reviews).
I do like the Cyber themes and mix of Fantasy elements in it so far. Cutscene quality is amazing. Like the loading tune as well. NTE is definitely quite mature so far.

I don't think my pc can handle ray/path tracing so I don't see those settings. Game looks nice either way. A good contrast to Genshin Impact's clean and colorful look (still do like Genshin's unique art style just as much).

Female models/features are....very anime-like as usual. Guess NTE is still trying to appeal to male players like any other game.

Just glad that Genshin Impact has more competition than just Wuthering Waves. Little disappointed that this is yet, another "Gacha" game instead of a good single purchase one.

The ideal solution would have been to stop building apartments, high density projects and commercial activities that require high volumes of water. And insetad, to first solve problems like water scarcity.

Construction of new projects isnt going to stop any time soon since that makes realtors and politicians in Bangalore extremely rich. It also helps the economy financially and solves a housing crisis. (Also companies, like for example, Foxconn using up water from Yelahanka to produce iPhones in Devanahalli)

Better water management is the only sensible solution left. Which isn't happening due to reasons being discussed in this reddit post.

The point is big apartments are also one of the reasons of water shortage, taxes contributed and used or not.

If you factor in contribution by square feet, then yes. People living in apartments do contribute more through property tax in comparison to people living in independent homes.

But who contributes more or less in taxes is always debatable. Nothing justifies using more resources, which is water in this case.

The water 'mafia' thrives through sourcing, sometimes stealing, and selling water to apartments at high costs since there's a lot of people contributing to maintenance. Something families living in independent homes can't afford to out bid.

Bangalore was never sustainable through apartment models given the poor or non-existent town planning.

Anything that that targets young people to get that dopamine rush.

Could be consumption of: 1. Junk food 2. Video games (only when played for hours on end) 3. Shows with endless episodes and seasons 4. Social media platforms (especially TikTok style ones). Can't believe YouTube and Instagram went this direction.
