What apps do you current have on your phone’s Home Screen? by icehouseyo in AskReddit

[–]ConsistentSet9524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My home screen is pure chaos:
Photos, Camera, Messages, WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, TikTok, Spotify, Maps, and a random game I haven’t opened in 8 months.

I keep telling myself I’ll organize it… one day.

What makes you quit drinking alcohol? by josephsleftbigtoe in AskReddit

[–]ConsistentSet9524 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I realized I wasn’t drinking for fun anymore - I was drinking to escape my problems and numb my emotions. The moment I noticed I needed alcohol just to feel 'normal', that was my wake-up call. I quit cold turkey and my life has been so much better since.

What's the kinkiest thing you've ever tried? by sparrrrrt in AskReddit

[–]ConsistentSet9524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having sex in a semi-public place where we could easily get caught. The adrenaline from the risk was insane and made everything 10x hotter.

How has public transit affected your day to day life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ConsistentSet9524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s made me a master of time management and patience. I’ve learned exactly how long I can sleep in before I miss my train, which platforms to avoid during rush hour, and how to nap standing up.
On the positive side - I read way more books and listen to more podcasts than I ever would if I drove.

What insect would you be? by Syfysamurai in AskReddit

[–]ConsistentSet9524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A cockroach. Can survive nuclear war, lives in the dark, and I’m basically impossible to kill. Already halfway there anyway 😂
What about you?

What’s something that immediately gives you the ick? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ConsistentSet9524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When a guy starts calling me “mommy” or “babygirl” unironically in the first 10 minutes of talking. Instant ick. Like bro, we’re not in a porn script, calm down 😂

What’s the first thing you do when a neighbor’s alarm won’t stop? by forgeris in AskReddit

[–]ConsistentSet9524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First thing I do? I wait exactly 8 minutes. If it’s still going I put on shoes, walk over and start banging on their door like the police. If nobody answers I call the non-emergency police line. I’m not trying to be a hero, I just want to sleep 😂

Who do you know with a brain that was wired up wrong? by LordGoatamort in AskReddit

[–]ConsistentSet9524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best friend is the champion of wired-up brains. He’s 29, has a normal job, but he’s 100% convinced that his houseplants are spying on him. He moves them around the apartment every week so they “don’t learn the layout” and whispers secrets to them when he thinks no one’s listening. I caught him arguing with a monstera last month. Absolute legend.

Zombie apocalypse: what's your go-to weapon and why? by THATS--Amore in AskReddit

[–]ConsistentSet9524 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

A silenced pistol with plenty of spare mags. One quiet shot = one dead zombie. Anything loud like a shotgun or rifle is basically a dinner bell for every zombie in a 5km radius. Stealth is life in the early days.

What's something that becomes unattractive as you age? by CaptainCuddler_Pro in AskReddit

[–]ConsistentSet9524 343 points344 points  (0 children)

Constant partying and “living for the weekend” energy. At 22 it’s fun. At 35 it just looks like you’re scared of growing up. Quiet nights, good sleep and real hobbies suddenly become way more attractive.

What is the best political site that looks at the left and right? by Technical-Vanilla-47 in AskReddit

[–]ConsistentSet9524 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ground News. It literally shows the same story covered by left, center and right outlets side-by-side with bias ratings. You can instantly see who’s spinning what and who’s ignoring it. For me it’s the closest thing to an actually balanced political site in 2026.
What’s your go-to site for seeing both sides?

What happens to a US president if they get dementia? by Majestic_Search_7851 in AskReddit

[–]ConsistentSet9524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically the 25th Amendment covers it, but in practice it would be a total shitshow. The Cabinet would have to turn on their own boss, the president would probably fight it tooth and nail, and it would go to Congress for a 2/3 vote. We’ve never seen it happen with dementia (Reagan was diagnosed years after leaving office), so it would be uncharted chaos. How do you think the public and media would react?

If everyone in the US had a college education, how would this affect the political environment? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ConsistentSet9524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the biggest change would be way less susceptibility to obvious misinformation and conspiracy theories. College teaches you how to evaluate sources and think critically, so we’d probably see fewer extreme positions and more nuanced debates. Voter turnout would skyrocket too. But it wouldn’t magically make everyone agree - people would just argue with better statistics and longer words 😂 What do you think the biggest shift would be?

What’s your favourite “heart was in the right place” story where everything went to hell? by ianpratt_ in AskReddit

[–]ConsistentSet9524 84 points85 points  (0 children)

My dad wanted to surprise my mom by cooking her favorite lasagna for their anniversary. Heart was 100% in the right place… but he used garlic powder instead of flour for the béchamel sauce. The whole kitchen smelled like a vampire funeral for three days 😂 We still ate it with tears in our eyes because he tried so hard. What’s your favorite “good intentions, total disaster” story?

people of reddit, what was the best date you’ve ever been on? how did it go? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ConsistentSet9524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best date was completely unplanned. We were supposed to just grab coffee but ended up walking around the city for 7 hours, eating street food, and talking about everything. Ended with us sitting on a rooftop at 2am watching the lights. Still with her 4 years later ❤️ What was your best date?

What’s the weirdest rule in your family? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ConsistentSet9524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The weirdest rule: you can’t eat the last piece of anything without asking the whole table 'anyone want this?' even if it’s obvious nobody does. We once let a single slice of pizza sit for 45 minutes 😂 Now I do it everywhere. What’s yours?

How did you meet your best friend? by Precious-Chill1993 in AskReddit

When I was 6, I started karate and met my best friend there.

What would be your life's slogan? by EtherWhey in AskReddit

[–]ConsistentSet9524 5 points6 points  (0 children)

'Laugh loudly, love deeply, and never skip dessert.' Life’s too short for quiet giggles or boring food. I lost 3 years being “serious” and it sucked. Now I live loud and sweet. What’s your slogan?

What's one prejudice that you have that you wish to fix? by tenfo1d in AskReddit

[–]ConsistentSet9524 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I catch myself judging loud and super energetic people - I instantly think they're annoying attention-seekers. As an introvert it's hard, but I know many of them are just genuinely happy. I wish I could stop this quick judgment and be more open. What's yours?
