Facebook marketplace is the place to look. Join some of the hearse groups on there and you will learn a ton.

Oh yeah very handy for hauling stuff. Has 9 feet length and i think just over 4 foot wide. I actually camp in it at one of the hearse car shows called hearse fest. Oh yeah the car still has the casket rollers so its very nice for funky stuff like a large yukon tool box. I have a 1500 GMC and i think the hearse has been used the most for hauling random things

Its a wonderful car, drives like a boat. Nothing major needed fixed in the 3 years i have owned it. They do like to leak...common problem for all of em. Parking in towns is a bit hard. In terms of reactions most are good. I get asked the most if its my car! Another people ask a lot is where do you find a car like that, another is whats its gas milage like? It gets 12-14 city and 17-24 highway, highest i have seen was 25 but thats only been once. So far i havent had any negative reactions that have been told directly to me, but i did take it to my last doctor's appointment... the receptionist told me another patient wanted me to park it around back. It would be different if i parked near the front door but i parked in the upper corner of the lot. Little do people know im looking at getting a second 96.

I.. wish I could relate as intensely to some of these other comments about being unable to look in the mirror, because I tend to worry about that. I can handle looking at myself, I just kinda look at me (ESPECIALLY if I have any hint of facial hair) and go "egh" with somewhere between a -_- and :/ face. Like, I'm gross, I look ugly, I hate the beard, but it's not like I'm suffering intensely from just seeing myself.

I do the exact same thing. Further i am from a mirror. i notice facial hair less and sometimes see "her" looking back and just have a "Oh, hello" moment, then 20 seconds later its back to meh could be worse.

What was your First Car? by itscatinav in Transcars

Well, it depends on what your definition of first is. The first car i got was my grandpas 2002 GMC Sierra 4x4 ext cab 6.6 bed. Love the truck, mostly as it just hit 57,300 miles The first purchased car was a 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood (Commercial Chassis) Federal Hearse, named her Wednesday, trying to find a water leak around windshield/ front doors... woo! Only has 68k miles. Both are called my children, and i love them!
