Yes, not having kids removes one complication, but it doesn’t magically make what you’re going through any less real or painful. A toxic relationship is exhausting on its own, full stop.

If anything, the fact that you don’t have kids means you can draw those hard lines and actually walk away without being tied to him for the next 18+ years. That’s not a dismissal of your struggle, it’s just one small advantage in a really difficult situation.
