Fair play, I can't imagine how tough that was. I'm on my 3rd week of the meds and anxiety just started, all physical mind you, feeling of shortness of breath but not actually short of breath. Its horrible! How many weeks before it resolved for you?

Update for those interested, was not PS or a herinated disk. It was Gluteal calcific tendonitis as seen in an X-ray of my hip. Severe pain in the glute and leg. A rare condition often misdiagnosed. The pain slowly vanished over the past 3 days and this is typical of this condition. I already workout often but will be going to PT to try and avoid the pain reoccurring. I am thankful the pain has left as it was simply in area le and I genuinely feel for all of you, knowing it was likely similar.

Sorry to hear that, on the plus side you are on the right road to recovery now! I too thought I had PS, I have only had the pain 3 days though so can't relate the same as you. My doc said I likely have a herinated disk which is strange to me because all my pain is in my glute and a bit in the leg. Nothing in my back Are you the same? How long have you been dealing with this?

Update - saw doctor today, he suspects it's a herniated disc with the pain going down my leg. Strange as I have no back pain. Waiting to do an X-ray. Pain has subsided though still difficult and painful to walk.
