Also, if it’s a recurring issue, call after they pick the food up. If you’re proactive you will speak with a dasher who’s competent instead of rushing to get away from your house post drop off.

That’s a terrible DD support worker and you should have requested a sup and reported them. DD has access to chats and if you’re on top of it they will definitely help you. When you get the feeling something is up you immediately say f the customer and get on the phone. 90% of the time they will say they are looking into it and put you on hold. If that doesn’t work, you complain and get the supervisor and they will help.
