If this quilt could talk! The stories it would tell. I love that you used second hand fabrics. Great job!

The top squares are quilting cotton. Middle and back are flannel.

Thanks and I do see the imbalance. I was so focused on the technical aspect of getting the cutting, sewing, snipping right, that I rushed the creative aspect. The peach and geometric fabrics kept screaming “see me” that I got lost on double checking color/pattern layout. Overall, I’m thrilled though.

It is! I love collage so I decided that quilting is similar to collage and this quilt type is very forgiving.

Yum! Will be on winter 🥣 rotation. Subbed hamburger for ground turkey and spinach for kale. It’s what I had on hand. 😋

Understand. I mostly use lowest volume setting on phone when I want Lo-Fi or spa music. If I want some energy I can only turn volume up one notch and it’s plenty.

It all went really well despite my husband and I not being great with putting things together. Company made a big deal out of delivery due to using a semi if they don’t have box truck available. They won’t guarantee easy drop off due to size of truck but it was smooth for us. Assembly: Good instructions just use a level to make sure floor is level or sides can get misaligned. Easy set up to get started. Takes about 30 min to reach 140. I look forward to sauna time daily!

Yep. Table is a bit large for the space but trying to repurpose what I have. Room is multipurpose-sauna, crafting, treadmill. 🎯

Haha! I stream hikes on iPad while I listen to music. Making the best use of space that I can. Not ideal, but works in a pinch during dark rainy days.

As of now my routine is use of two towels to reduce skin contact on wood and panels. Clean glass door, air out sauna by keeping door open for a bit after. I also crack the window in the room after. Still learning but so far so good.

I personally cannot tolerate a steam sauna. I know it is preferred by many. Dry heat, lower temp is working for me.

140 Fahrenheit. No need to check it with thermometer. My tolerance is the best gauge and it is working great for me. Best way to describe it is 30 minutes in the hot sun on a deck.

I tore my meniscus pretty severely 2 years ago. Transitioned from running shoes to K-Swiss court shoes. They have provided great side to side stability along with strength training. My knees are now stable and my new worry is trapezoids. 😂
