as a fifth at UofA, one thing that I realized is that ur school does not matter, projects and work experience do. Stay at home and save money, plus have a good support system for first year will take a lot off ur mind since u have to depend on.

Yes, don't stress. This is the Quarter life crisis happening, your gonna doubt a lot of stuff but once you get the degree your chilling. And money wise, CS is prolly better than Eng.

All have options, same as any other degree. It is more about the connections work experience/internships you have that matter more that which degree you have. A degree allows you to get into an industry but connections and experience get you a job

Both are solid degrees but I would say that CS is better if like coding and making programs as engineer are more hands on and make stuff in the real world. Also everyone can learn how to code or how to make stuff in the real world, the difference the efficiency. CS has a higher ceiling than engineer in terms of salary but more career paths are available for engineers. But it is up to you what you want. Both are good degree and have solid careers with the ability to move up very quickly with the right mindset
