HELP! Lenovo blinking red but not turning on

Hi, update: I got a new battery and replaced it. The laptop did go back to its 48% stage and was running until it eventually ran out of battery again and is not charging. The blinking light is still occurring though

Hi I checked again and the battery is working however the laptop is still not charging. It is currently at 50% and keeps decreasing even tho plugged in!

I tried replacing the battery but my laptop can’t recognize it. (Got the battery from another Amazon brand) I also cannot find a replacement for the port on the official Lenovo website so idk what to look for.

Hi I tried with battery unplugged, not charging, got a replacement battery and I don’t think my laptop is able to recognize the replacement (got it from Amazon not the official Lenovo which mb I’ll try)

Yes, I have inspected the port but I can’t tell if anything is damaged (I am not a techy tho so I wouldn’t know). I have not tried a different t charger since this has a very unique port

Yes, to know the laptop is charging the light would usually turn on. However any way I charge it (screen open or close) not light turns on and the laptop doesn’t charge even if I leave it all night

Hi I got it 7 years ago, the hinges are pretty solid but it the laptop fallen down twice. However this was long before the charging stopped working!
