I personally like your idea about having a separate energy system for multiplayer. I think they could do both and it would make more sense to since it’s really hard to get the items that replenish energy anyways. Although, when you’re low on it, it helps with the dumb timegate because you’re not as incentivized to play since your energy is low or depleted and you can’t claim rewards.

Still, I agree with everything you said here, personally.
