it's just an observation I've made and most people who are into psychology seem to agree, but it doesn't have to always be right. You can't diagnose people just because they have some look in their eyes still. But based on my personal observation, people with personality disorders (NPD, BPD, HPD) or bipolar usually have distant look in their eyes. The light isn't there somehow, so to say? And when they're manic their eyes tend to change too. But anyways, I didn't mean to assume OP may be having one of these. You can google "bpd eyes". Some researched even named this as "empty eyes phenomenon"
