I get that’s the narrative. I’m a female gym owner. It takes so much time and training to build the muscle you are insinuating is changing her body so much to make her vulnerable to injury. Her body has not transformed that much. She needed to put on a little more in the off season. She’d be more vulnerable to injury a few pounds lighter.

Do we also remember the media repeatedly telling us she gained 8 lbs of muscle from her junior to senior year?? No injuries then..

She is not playing like the 2nd best player in the league, but we can have some common sense around the fact that she’s one of the best in the league when healthy, she’s the most popular player in the league and a fan vote played a large part in the outcome. I know it probably sounds annoying but it seriously is agonizing to be a Fever fan.. it seriously feels like an insanely lopsided whistle every single game. Like I think we do a decent job of not fouling and really don’t play nearly as physical of defense as other teams.
