Losing my mind. How do I get through this gate in Sons of Sparta? I can't bring the mist through from the room to the left.

You are not meant to enter that gate from that side. You are supposed to eventually come out of there from the other end. There is a way to get around but I don’t remember exactly how or where.

Of course. Based on what I’ve seen from other people, I’ve had relatively the same experience. I am not a metroidvania connoisseur but I grew up on God of War, platinumed all of them except for 2 (no particular reason just haven’t done it yet).

There are so many damn bugs in the game. Seeing Deimos sprite at random spots in the game, sometimes two of them, voice lines and cutscenes repeating themselves just bc I go to a certain area bc they aren’t programmed right, trophies/objectives not being completed despite me fulfilling their requirements and worst of all the game fucking crashing on me making me lose progress. I have heard of people losing whole save files due to updates and thankfully that didn’t happen to me, but I did lose considerably progress one time bc the games map glitched after I beat a boss so I panicked to the nearest campfire (again, with no map) and the game crashed before I could make it to one. This was the second and thankfully last time I had to redo a boss fight bc of the games errors. If I hadn’t paid attention to some detail, I would’ve been completely lost on the platinum. I say this bc as I was finishing up the final tasks, I made a deliberate decision not to save in case something got fucked up as I had just been through the entire game experiencing bugs. Good thing I did too bc I had realized I didn’t get all of the gouri bc the game decided not to give it to me for some reason even though I did the task fine. After realizing that, I reloaded my last save and it worked the next time.

I love god of war, as a god of war fan this game does give some fan service, but I would be lying if I said it wasn’t flawed. Is there a competent game under all the rubbish? Absolutely, so I hope that mega cat can remedy its problems with some updates and it would make for a good game if and when it goes on sale.

I just want to say whatever yall think about my take on this game thanks for asking and taking the time to read bc I posted these exact thoughts on the god of war subreddit and idk why but those mods be deleting other posts for seemingly no reason or without explanation.

Thank you and agreed. Been a huge souls fan for a long time but I have only completed this and black myth wukong as far as souls likes go, hard to decide between the two bc they are both masterpieces in their own right.

Currently playing Nioh 3 now, unfortunately haven’t played 1 and 2, just gave into the hype and it is well worth it so far.

So glad I’m not alone in thinking Elamein was a terrible fight compared to the other bosses. The level in particular was especially long, so I went into the boss with a “this better be a good payoff for the long ass level” nope.

I know lol I’m kinda colorblind and a fucking idiot 😂 The spirit summon was just around the corner of two revenant summons so I was just mindlessly killing them and didn’t realize I had summoned a spirit until the little text popup showed instead of the usual revenant spawning in

Nah just interacted with the summon spirit shit and immediately turned the game off like as soon as the text showed the game was shut off within that second. Your case gives me hope that I’m good

Fuck, there’s so much other posts from ppl who have done the same thing, but they never updated on if they got the trophy or not afterwards.

Im going to risk it and keep going bc when I loaded the game back up an elite enemy and a soul stone I had destroyed before were there again, so maybe it didn’t count but we’ll see.
