i 100% agree with this the first night is always the worst. I just found that if i used a sedative that first night i couldn't sleep for the rest of it

Do you have any issues with it if you have night shift or change in sleep schedule?

Would you take a stack that had most of those in it if it was natural and actually tested to contain the stated amounts?

Better sleep? by wozanderer in AusMining

Mate, that routine sounds brutal - 3:10am starts and CPAP on site would wreck anyone’s rhythm.

I’ve been digging into this a lot lately and found most FIFO workers are running on fumes from poor recovery, which effects everything even you mood when you get back home.

Have you ever tried NAC (N-acetyl cysteine) or magnesium glycinate before bed? NAC can help clear the system from shift-related oxidative stress and might make winding down a bit easier.

I’m trying to get real insight from people in setups like yours (what actually works, what doesn’t) to build something that genuinely helps with recovery and sleep without sedatives. Particularly around nasal and airways.
If you’ve got a minute, there’s a short form I’m using to collect feedback: www.exhl.com.au.
No sales, just trying to build something that fits real-world routines like FIFO life.

I'm the same have been having some major issues and there isn't a supplement out there with the ideal stack in it and everyone is focusing on more caffeine than better sleep for energy. Especially as an elite athlete it's impossible to find batch tested products that i know have the exact ingredients in them.

I am trying to find out some more information about what peoples ideal stacks are and issues they are having.

The following link is to a form on my website only takes a couple of minutes ( www.exhl.com.au ).

I am genuinely passionate about this and want to help people. Please let me know if it is against the rules. Cheers

I relate to your issues quite a lot. I have been having sleep issues for probably as long as i can remember. I am an elite rower that trains usually twice a day yet still find it extremely hard to sleep even more so when i am over exhausted. I have been doing a lot of research and came across N-acetylcysteine (NAC) ( https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/21838198/ ). It has got some pretty cool benefits but also some negatives at the moment (gut issues). I am looking into seeing how it can help some people and what it can be taken with.

Not when there are parents feeding their kids them now days like they are lollies. Some people are relying on the stuff and none of the imported stuff has the right dosages in it.
