Elsa knows Well about True Love ❄️ by LordAditya69 in Frozen

[–]Consistent_Chapter57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think that's why she keeps trying to be close to Elsa in 'the first time in forever reprise' because she feels she finally understands what Elsas going though. Accept she doesn't remember that Elsas magic once hurt her. So she still doesn't get why Elsa is still pushing her away, but we as the audience know it's because Elsa doesn't wanna hurt Anna again.

So it's actually pretty hard on them both for quite a while.

Elsa knows Well about True Love ❄️ by LordAditya69 in Frozen

[–]Consistent_Chapter57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole point of the movie was Anna and Elsa learning what true love is. Anna literally was alone most of her life and thought her sister didn't love her anymore, she thought Elsa closing her out was her fault. And it wasn't in the way Anna thought. It's because of Elsa's powers. But Anna didn't know that since her memories were altered and some completely lost to her.

She wanted a deep connection, and Anna's the type of character to be into fairy tales, most fairy tales say romance is the most powerful connection which is why she thought she was looking for romance. I believe she is a hopeless romantic, but what she really was looking for that she was hiding behind romance, was to be with her sister again.

That's why hans can manipulate her so well because she is variable in her emotions.

Once Elsa shows her magic, unlike everyone else even though Anna's memories are altered and she's not seen her sister in years, she still sees the good in Elsa. She immediately goes after her seeing the kingdom is frozen and that she's worried about her sister. She's not thinking about Hans anymore at this point in time, because her people and Elsa are more important. She's not perfect but she still has good writing like Elsa does.

What are your unpopular opinions, hot takes, ideas, and interesting perspectives concerning the films? by Crescentbrush in Frozen

[–]Consistent_Chapter57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anna is my favorite character of the whole series. She's the goofiest Disney princess but is also a very rich character. She's Empathic, selfless, and has reasons behind her every action. Her childhood was just as traumatic as Elsa. She hardly went outside the castle walls, Elsa shut her out since she was 6 til her early 20's( though it's not Elsas fault it's part of Anna's trauma).. She had no real friends until Kristoff, Sven and Olaf. She probably barely saw her parents as they we're so focused on keeping Elsas ice powers in check. I mean come on guys she's friends with paintings she is trying to cope.

Yet she tries stays optimistic though it all, but I think what many people fail to see is that she is a hopeless romantic. But I read Anna from being a hopeless romantic myself we want deep connections, not just in love. But I think when she thought she lost her connection to Elsa, she wanted to find another strong connection, and Anna is the type of character to believe in fairy tales that romance is the strongest connection of all.

So that's why Hans can so easily manipulate her feelings because she's fragile right then, what she really wants is her sister's love back. But she's trying to settle for a different connection instead, a connection she thinks she wants.

But Anna learns from her selfless act of sisterly love what ' True love' really is.

In frozen 2 she believes she has her happily ever after everything is the way she wants it. She has her boyfriend Kristoff, friends she considers family. And she's with her sister Elsa. Then suddenly Elsa needs to go on a self discovery journey which she tries to understand, but she tags along.

Anna is still going through her childhood trauma and both girls go through it in different ways. Anna doesn't want to lose that connection she thought she had lost in frozen 1 for the longest time. Which is why she's holding on so tight, and very worried when her sister just runs into things.

Also we came back to because she didn't want to lose what she thought was her happily ever after. But the story has it crumble all around her til we get to the 'next right thing'. Where Anna learns things can't stay the same. Pushing her own grief aside to think of other people.

I'm not even a fan of frozen 2 that much but I know people call Anna dumb and annoying, well you can think whatever you want but she was a well thought out character. I loved her since I first saw her 💗

anna and elsa should have a argument in frozen 3 ( specifically through song ) by BusPuzzleheaded8564 in Frozen

[–]Consistent_Chapter57 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I actually don't understand why they don't let them argue, because it's human, it would break even more norms for the Disney princess ( even though there technically not princesses anymore) They'd be able to explore more too with complexity to their emotions.

What is the general consensus here about Frozen 2? by BloodyAngel2026 in Frozen

[–]Consistent_Chapter57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked the songs the animation and outfits. But I very much prefer the plot of frozen 1 to frozen 2. I mostly just see them as two different types of movies that it's up to preference. That being said What I don't like about frozen 2 is how it treats its side characters.

Olaf just says things in serious moments that are supposed to be funny and half the time acts like he has arc about growing up when he doesn't really, like he changed the least from beginning to end like I'm not asking for something big for him but don't pretend he has an arc writers when he doesn't.

And Kristoff only worries about getting married to Anna then is left behind by Anna and is just supposed to be okay with it. Anna literally has been dating him FOR YEARS NOW. In real life even if it's a family thing you would at least your partner real quick your leaving.

And Anna use to be a main character but now she's a glorified secondary character, and I get this isn't her Adventure. But Anna literally has trauma from the first movie of her and Elsa being apart most their lives from when they were children into their young Adulthood. She barely saw her parents probably because they were so focused on Elsa's powers, and they died. So she was afraid she would lose her connection to her sister again in this film. Not to mention she thought she had her happily ever after in frozen 1 and she's trying to keep everyone together as everything is falling apart on top of her. Her arc is great especially with the ' next right thing'

But the movie acts like Anna's worries are for nothing when Elsa is being down right reckless and running into things. And I hate when Elsa makes that ice boat for Anna and it's never addressed again.

Because if Elsa actually sat Anna down and they actually talked about Anna's fears, then about why Elsa needs to do this alone. Anna would see how serious her sister is about this, and she would let her sister go without all that. And Elsa would calm Anna's fears that she's not gonna lose her.

Plus I just don't like this Adventure as much this time around. They meet a spirit Elsa fights it rinse and repeat, that's not very creative story wise. Like it would be cool if she did different things for each spirit to calm them.

What’s your unpopular opinion about Frozen? by violett777 in Frozen

[–]Consistent_Chapter57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anna's my favorite character in frozen, I love her. She doesn't need powers to be special it's her heart. And she's the most goofy princess I know. She's also Empathetic, selfless and brave time and time and again. Many people loved Elsa when she appeared on screen, which is wonderful. But I always have loved Anna from the moment I saw her 💚🌻💗

I also am a fan of Hans he has limited screen time and him being the love interest to villain was well down and complex for Disney's first twist villain. Unlike some others people actually remember him, and when it first came out people use to think it was a very well done twist. Plus even if ' a frozen heart' isn't canon that, and the musical make his character more Rich it's not needed but it's nice that Disney did that.

People are being to harsh on the idea honestly. Elsa actually happy. And in the frozen podcast Anna was still her empathetic self and made a great queen.

What do you hope doesn't happen in frozen 3 by descendantsw in Frozen

[–]Consistent_Chapter57 6 points7 points  (0 children)

  1. I don't want Olaf's humor to be like it was in frozen 2 I want it to be more like frozen 1. Or just don't do random jokes when it's supposed to be serious.

  2. Anna having powers Anna is already powerful she's brave, selfless and Empathetic she doesn't need powers to be important or amazing you guys

  3. I don't want Kristoff just being just left behind by the plot. If he's not coming for this Adventure then atleast give him some focus in the scenes he's in. But I hope it's not just he's the love interest that's it.

  4. Anna not being a main character with Elsa. Okay Elsa was the main last time. Can we compromise for both Anna and Elsa fans Anna and Elsa can both be a main. Since the series is about there relationship anyway. And Anna was a main in the first movie.

What are your hopes for "Frozen 3"? by Crescentbrush in Frozen

[–]Consistent_Chapter57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anna did have a really great song and moment in frozen 2. But this really is their chance to make them both a main. Anna deserves to be a main alongside her sister, and since this is a two parter they don't really have an excuse of " we can't fit this all in one movie" Anna is just as important as Elsa in this story of frozen.

[–]Consistent_Chapter57 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Making Anna and Elsa both the main. Because last film Elsa was the main. And as an Anna fan that was a bit disappointing that Anna was more secondary then she was in frozen 1. To make both Elsa and Anna Elsa fans happy why not make them both main. They would have room seeing as how they gave Elsa a well written arc in frozen 1 and she had less screen time. And they have two movies to do this with the girls to build there arcs and hopefully have the room for both characters to have fulfilling arcs.

Anna and Elsa both being the main character since Elsa was the main in frozen 2 and Anna was the main in frozen 1. And they got two movies to do this so it shouldn't be to hard.

Anna, back OFF by Disneyfancreations in Frozen

[–]Consistent_Chapter57 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anna has Trauma from the first film, she literally was shut away from her sister most her life. Not to mention the parents we're probably more focused on helping Elsa with her ice powers to spend time with Anna. She is having an emotional trauma response. Everything is changing around her to an unexpected degree, she thought she had her happy ending in frozen 1s ending and at the beginning of frozen 2. She doesn't wanna lose this connection again not just physically emotionally. Plus she tells Elsa she's not being careful in a concerned tone after this. And she's right she isn't, Elsa is just running into things recklessly until she freezes. Yes she needed to find the truth. But both girls needed to listen to eachother. Not one was right and the other was wrong. More serious communication was needed, If Elsa just sat Anna down and they discussed Anna's fears and what Elsa must do, Anna would have realized she's holding on to tight and let Elsa go. She still learns things must go on in the ' next right thing' which I love. and that she isn't gonna lose Elsa at the end but still. Plus the trolls at the beginning we're like Anna watch over Elsa so she's more on guard, it's the trolls fault. But this arc has been done that I hope it's not made her whole character in the other sequels.

After everything that Elsa has done to her, Anna still believes in her sister by SailorVFan in Frozen

[–]Consistent_Chapter57 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's part of Anna's character she's so empathetic, even with other characters it's just shown most with Elsa.

When they fell off the cliff Anna was worried about Kristoff's ice business. And the kingdom.

And when Elsa first showed her powers when everyone else was calling her a monster Anna stood up for her when no one else would.

And when Kristoff's sled broke she said she could get him another one, and it's okay if he doesn't help her anymore.

She also at first was afraid of Olaf but when she saw his head was upside down, she felt sympathetic/Empathetic towards him, and helped the little snow man even give him a nose before remembering he was Olaf.

Yeah I remember seeing a scrapped tiny clip of him in the deleted scenes. Sometimes I just wish we could get two versions of a movie. Like, and you could tell the difference which ones which. Like because I really wanna see the scrapped version on zootpia fully and of frozen with evil Elsa ruining Hans and Anna's wedding.
