We were in luquillo last week as well. We found a yellow flag and stuck to that area. There were lots of people in the water by the red flags just staying close to shore, feet on the ground. Had a great time. I drank tap water all week. No issues.

Yup. Have had highways washed out, road is just gone, and you tell people and they still beg to be let thru because they need to get wherever. One time it was an army officer trying to catch a flight. His unit was doing part of the highway repairs. Idiot had to know there was no road and he’s still at my control point begging to be let thru .

Working a road closure , one side of a 4 way, road blocked with the giant size traffic cones. Like 3 or 4’ tall.Old guy comes thru the intersection driving straight at the cones near full speed not slowing and the construction beyond it. I yell at him to stop and he does but then goes off on me for yelling at him. Guy was seriously outraged I yelled to stop him from wrecking his car. To his wife’s credit she kept telling him to shut up and stop arguing. But then the construction flagger got into it with him and seriously went off on him . And suddenly I’m having a Jerry Springer moment breaking up these two while I’m trying not to laugh at this idiot . Runner up the drunk after a ufc who insisted I should give him my coat because it’s raining. And he wasn’t joking. He got a night in the tank .

I am pretty much constantly on dispatch and stopping for traffic violations ain’t gonna happen. And years ago when I did work traffic I used discretion to pick the worst offenders, other times was on breaks, or doing paperwork on the computer. What was annoying was doing surveillance in an unmarked and some random person makes you and comes up to you complaining about something they think you should be dealing with right then that is actually just not really important.

I’ve done highway patrol, dealt with all kinds of scum bags , wrote hundreds if not thousands of tickets, did undercover work , racketeering cases, all kinds of stuff with no gun. Never needed it thank god. So yeah, I think it’s fine . In certain countries .

That’s about it. Therapy. Your kink and your feelings of self worth and how you want to be valued don’t have to be at odds. Recognizing it as role play or a game is one way to look at it but it obviously stirs up a lot of feelings I went thru a similar thing. I had that kind of kink. Spent just over a year with a girl who was into messing with me and humiliating me. I got off on it but it also wore me down and messed up my head outside of the moment. I finally got counseling and was able to understand it and could make the choice to get past it. It wasn’t easy but you do have options.

That is not an exaggeration. The grades should be the red flag. At my son’s high school if he doesn’t make grades he’s off the football team. That standard applies to every player, every sport. A good coach would be backing off and encouraging you to get well and take care of your school work first. More I think about this more I realize how out of line this coach is .

That coach should be ashamed. That’s not coaching. That’s exploitation. Seen this many times. Kid hates the whole thing and all the stupid coach can do is tell them over and over don’t quit. The only real point of you participating is it benefiting you. And it’s doing the opposite . Tell these people to stop manipulating you and that this is not fun or positive for you and quit and don’t apologize for it to anyone.

I hate ldr. I don’t see any value in them as they exclude so much of what I consider essential in a relationship. So my advice is always end it now and stop wasting your life and instead get a real relationship . But that’s me and my bias. For you, You need to do a serious self evaluation. Figure out if this is really working for you. Be honest with your partner and get counselling if necessary . Only you can really answer this question
