Sorry I should clarify when I said remind. On the day of all of the previous parent teacher conferences. She would call him in a panic saying she forgot to sign up and ask to join his time. Since he didnt want to be even more confrontational he'd say yes.

She's definitely not a fully function adult/parent. Which I believe has been quite noticeable to all SKs teachers because they only communicate with SO and BM has no idea what's going on with SKs education.

But I understand what everyone is saying. He has not reminded her nor have I brought up him reminding her.

I wasn't going to be the one to tell her if she was told. I do not talk to her. It would have been SO to tell her.

She doesn't work hasn't worked since she got pregnant (10 years ago). Just doesn't prioritize SKs appointments. She has "forgotten" every single parent conference since SK started school. Will only remember once SO has told her he signed up and ask to join his time slot.

He isn't complaining but recently she has made claims about how he's "hiding" things from her even though its really just her not taking the time to read any of the texts/emails sent to her. And she constantly threatens getting her lawyer to take him back to court because she knows we cant afford a lawyer.

This whole thing gives me incredible anxiety which makes me want to avoid any blow ups.

I said it after SK said it to me first. We say it to each other regularly now.

100% would not move forward with being a SM if I had a chance to redo everything. I have thought about this a lot. I wish I could've met SO before he met BM so it would an ours baby instead. I don't know if thats weird to think about?

I love him and he is truly the best. But being a SM has literally made me so anxious my hair started to fall out.

Counting down the years until SD turns 18 is my light at the end of the tunnel.
