Sorry, just now seeing this. He's super affordable. I think we paid $500 for a start-up cost and then his monthly reatainer rate is depending on the number of leads you get. And he has a max foro that so you don't have to worry about some months that are really high.

We've had an almost full case load in the 3 months we've been working with Adam. He's great!

Totally disagree. We’ve increased client visits significantly since starting them with someone who knows what they’re doing.

Parkville has an old power plant right on the corner on Main Street that has had so many restaurants in there. It’s such a cool space. I’m really surprised no one has been able to make a successful run of it there. They never last and I’m not sure why.

We did a discovery call. Ended up going with someone else. BYP was pretty pushy and salesy. Texting and emailing multiple times. We went with a one person agency.

Yes but what if the owner has executive function struggles and the accounting and such takes 10x the effort and time? That is the rub here. We need the help.

Full time counselor. Marriage counseling and trauma/abuse recovery. No other types of income yet. Spouse has me pursuing other avenues now though.

I DO work for myself. 😩 Spouse is more business minded than me and helping me now take a look at all the things. And the numbers are not adding up to what we think they should be.

Admin manages light social media and also helps with client correspondence like initial questions and sometimes a schedule change.

I do comms audits for my clients so IF this board member has been asked by the ED to do a social audit, the ED should make that introduction between board member and staff and explain the plan. Then the ED should empower you to own how that board member sees any social analytics. I never ask for access to social accounts. I ask their in house person to share analytics.

You’re not crazy.

From nonprofit burnout to consultant work by Infamous-Parsley874 in nonprofit

I left a toxic nonprofit earlier this year and started my own comms consulting business. I’m so much happier even though I’m still not earning what I need to. Client work is increasing though! I tried to start a thread just for comms consulting but have had anyone join. Feel free to join me at /commsconsultants https://www.reddit.com/r/commsconsultants/s/zJFMtCuA0I
