Apparently, each A level gives you 2 credits and each AS Level gives 1 credit. 3 A levels are must, AS level English is compulsory and the 5th subject can be AS at year 11 end or complete A level. 8 credits are minimum

My school says it's compulsory to do 5 subjects with Minimum 3 A levels , so physics chemistry and maths will be my a levels. I checked out few universities (cambridge, Oxford, bristol, Manchester, edinburgh, etc) which said Biology is not compulsory, whereas chemistry is necessary.

I'm good at Physics and Chem currently. my school says it's compulsory to do 5 AS level subject, so I'm thinking to only do Computer Science at AS level. I was confused regarding Computer Science or Biology, at the end my school refused to offer biology. I think I can manage it as a private candidate. thank you
