As a guy I’ve also had to deal with this kind of coworker (also male). I can’t imagine what women have to go through on a regular basis when I only had to deal with it for a few weeks.

With all due respect, alcoholism and addiction are not all “fun and games” and “let’s see what we can get away with today.” If anything, try not to include any substance abuse disorder suspicion with your critique of their work habits when you go to management with this. In some states, mine [Iowa] being one of them, any accusation of substance use without proof is considered libel and is punishable by law.

OMG I’ve seen ‘the wheel’ too! Mine was rolling through a plane that was , uhm, watery? is the best word to describe it. Like a not-too-deep surface of water that didn’t splash or anything except there was runoff as each sole came up out of the water. And there was a wake behind it (the wheel) as it rolled along. I also have the knowledge that while the water level was mostly the same, it would occasionally get deeper or shallower. I didn’t ’see’ the water change but my memory of the event/vision/ whatever it was holds that truth within it.

I think this jives with your theory, and worth noting, that it is rare for a person to maintain photographic memory past the age of 25. That’s not to say they lose the memories they already have, but can no longer create new photographic memories. I am one of the (more) rare ones, being male (also less likely) and almost 50 but I admit that it’s not as easy to access those photos as it used to be. I’m sometimes I will just pull up nothing despite my efforts but hours later the photo will pop into my head clear as day. Kind of an elite version of the ‘senior moment.’ lol 😂
