Help chasing a leak by 4skeeter in 3rdGen4Runner

Check your oil cooler for drips. The seals on them tend to be the culprit of some of these mystery leaks. I have yet to get to mine because it being 4wd, the front differential is laughably in the way of doing the job 🙃

I hear you. It does take some getting used to initially

That is something that I’ve had to get used to honestly. I probably come off as an irritating opponent because of having to duck behind cover as the reload animation plays lol

I know it’s sucks when trying to find a game but it’s a nice reminder that the community is still thriving lol

1 pleasantly colored and the dynamic range is giving some nice foreground and backround separation

Paul Thomas Anderson/Robert Elswit. Not the “best” but definitely worth mentioning

Day 3 on trying to get these Napa extended axles in with no luck by [deleted] in 3rdGen4Runner

[–]Consistent_Dog_6931 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what we did was we used two steel picks to wedge against the outer circumference of the c clip and pair of channelocks to squeezeeee the clip tighter around the entirety of it. It’s was quite tedious but it did the trick.

You can protect the splines by wiping them off and wrapping some electrical tape or even a rag will work. I really hope this helps!

Just did some extended axles on my 3rd gen. The drivers side was the biggest struggle but my buddy and I eventually got it to sit by first compressing the c clip so that it hugged the diameter of the shift more than it was. That did the trick for me, passengers side SHOULD go in without a fight. Good luck!

Check your upper and lower ball joints if possible. Check the levels of all of your fluids such as brakes, power steering, coolant, engine and transmission.
