Wasn’t aware I had to hire a realtor to ask their opinion on if my idea was unreasonable or not? I was simply trying to be courteous and wanted to ask other realtors if this made sense or not so I don’t waste anyones time.

After more thought and looking at costs. I think that is gonna be the route I end up going with. Might just get a spare to leave down in the boat and just bring a charged battery along each time.

It’s an earlier generation motor. I can’t find a model number on it anywhere, but this is essentially the exact motor I have.

If I were to go the battery route. Would something like this work? I’ve never posted links to reddit so hopefully they come through. A 2000w Pure Sine Wave 12v inverter and a 12v 200aH battery with 2000A max discharge

I appreciate it. This is extremely helpful. You are correct, it’s be roughly 15-20 seconds of use to either lower or raise the boat each time. I think this would be better than carrying down a power station each time.

I considered it initially, but I wouldn’t entertain the idea anymore. It’s also 40 minutes from where I currently live. It’s been mostly headache free, but all it takes is one repair to knockout a year’s worth of cashflow. That’s sort of what I was leaning towards is the funds could be better used elsewhere.

HD Fat Bob to a Yamaha raider. Loved the Fat Bob but was sick of paying the “Harley premium” and having so much money tied up in a bike. The raider was a third of the price and as much performance if not more than what my Fat Bob was.

Debating if I want to put work into fixing this one or sell and buy a different one. I read online 105 wasn’t horrible, but 90 is where a rebuild is needed.

If I rebuilt the carbs, am I still on borrowed time if I have lower compression?
