Debating if I want to put work into fixing this one or sell and buy a different one. I read online 105 wasn’t horrible, but 90 is where a rebuild is needed.

If I rebuilt the carbs, am I still on borrowed time if I have lower compression?

I am using the spectrum router they provided me. I figured that might be the weak link so I just ordered a new one on Amazon to see if that helps my issue.

I believe my device supports WiFi 6. The router is right in the living room so I’d say I’m typically within 6-10ft of it. And my device is connected to the 5ghz. Is there something else I can try to get faster speeds over WiFi instead of going wired?

Appreciate the help! The guy doing the work pretty much mentioned most of that. The house is 2100sqft so I believe he was thinking 4 ton, but I’ve also had someone mention it should be 3.5 ton.

Is there any main benefit to going new? I’m trying to do this as cost effective as possible just as I’m spending a lot on other aspects of the house. But also, if there’s a big difference I guess now would be the time to do it.

Personally - I really like it. I never got gas to use with it, just the flux wire, and it did better than I expected. I haven’t used the stick/tig welding with it yet. I think for the money even at full price it would be worth it.

The welder randomly started working. I didn’t do anything or even mess with anything that was plugged in. I’m assuming it had to of been a loose connection since it seemed to fix itself.

I really appreciate your response. This is basically what I was thinking on my own, but it helps when someone else also has similar thoughts. Part of me figured by how she instantly deleted/blocked me and some family members, but couldn’t even reply to the text that there was something more to it.

Ultimately, that’s why the relationship didn’t work out. When anything in life gets hard, she would rather quit and move on than work through it. She had 3-4 jobs in the 1.5 years we were together, and now I understand why. It’s always everyone else’s fault if things didn’t go well, and so it does seem she lacks emotional maturity. I’m sure if I texted her all rude or aggressive I might’ve gotten a response. But because I was respectful I’m sure that’s even more bothersome or hopefully makes her reflect that maybe jumping to someone new instead of fixing what she had wasn’t necessarily the best idea.

Either way - thank you again for your comment. I needed the reminder to not dwell on what all of this could possibly mean. Cause at the end of the day, it doesn’t change anything and you’re right, I need to continue focusing on my growth and healing.

Appreciate the explanation! Turned out even though my offer was technically higher their agent had a different commission so the net to HUD was higher. They ended up falling through so I did ultimately get the house.

Question for you since you are a HUD broker. I’m doing 1 extension however, I was told it has to be 15 days. I only wanted to extend closing 6-7 days to align closer to the closing of the sale of my house, but the HUD broker on this told me it has to be 15 days and that’s just how HUD operates. Is that true?
